Saturday (27th Feb)

Met up with Lh, Lm & Gr at Tamp1 to get Jo's birthday gift.

Aftermath, we took the shuttle bus over to Giant to purchase the food for the BBQ.

Poor 'Bobby', trolley-boy for the day. Hahaha.

We're just like young-aunties, calculative & thrifty. Everything also go for the cheapest. LOL.

Even the all time favourite prawns. We ditch the good ones & had the lousy ones instead.

It doesn't look fresh, & the size is pathetic.

Anyway, managed to survive the entire grocery shopping then cab back to Lh's house.

I went off right after for Mr Ng's BBQ (:

Sunday (28th Feb)

Went to meet Baby in the morning, & no it's not like what Ash said, I ate 'sausages' for breakfast.

Ash is seriously sick siol. Tiko-pek!

After waking Baby up, we went to Lh's house to help.

Apparently, I think only Lm, Lh & me was helping lor. Ash, Gr & B., is like, watching TV!

Sophie & Shannon came & does Baby look like he's good with kids?

I don't think so. I'm getting worried. Look at the way he's handling them. Oh no~

We gathered everything, packed them into tupperwares, chucked them into iceboxes,

stuffed them into bags, & then transported all to the BBQ pit.

Once we're there, we settled everything & start the ball rolling

while waiting for the late Kings&Queens, as well as the birthday girl.

Very proud of you that day, Baby. He helped to set the pit & start the fire.

Of course, the rest of the guys did help too.

Ok, I am very tired now. Let the photos do the talking ok.

Baby have been by the fire almost the whole night, just to keep the fire alive to cook our food.

& I am the good girlfriend who reserves food & feed him (:

We made the birthday girl pop the champagne.

But as we all know, Jo won't be able to do it without Bryan's help.

BBQ @ The Shaughnessy

I feel so damn sticky & my hair is covered with a layer of oil.

I wished I could bathe now but still needa wait for Sis, & then Bro to be done.

If I was staying at The Shaughnessy now, this wouldn't have happened.

Almost resided in The Shaughnessy about 10 years ago, if it's not for Chen Zhicai (Mediacorp artist).

House #18: Mr Ng's

No, CNY is not over (: & I am still on the run, to everywhere possible to bai-nian.

Today Dad's friend, Mr Ng, invited us to his place for a simple BBQ.

Totally love his 5 story terrace condo, & his family. It'll be good if we could be neighbours.

(Damn Chen Zhicai.)

His family is super kind & generous.

Love his 2 twin boys who're still primary school kids. Very shy boys but adorable.

Time really flies.

Still remember when I was about 6-year-old, when Auntie Eva & Mr Ng wasn't married yet,

both of them, San-yi's family & our family went on a vacation to KL.

Where we rented a bungalow & all of us stayed there.

Even though it's almost a year back, but I still remember the fun.

Now we're all grown up. & both of them were married with a pair of twin boys & a baby daughter.

Anyway, BBQ food was nice. Auntie Eva's cooking was simply delicious.

POST-EXAMS (PART II)

First day official, of the school holidays.

When I came out of the exam venue yesterday, I can't believe I'm a year 2 in 2 months time.

No longer a freshie (:

Today's plan was to book the class chalet, & then Pasir Ris Park to cycle/blade.

Finally, our class's gna have a class chalet. & IT'S BOOKED UNDER MY NAME!

Venue: Costa Sands Downtown East

Date: 3rd-5th March 2010

After booking & the late comers have arrived, we walked over to Pasir Ris Park.

All of us blade except for Char & Hariz. Overall, had tons of fun! :D

The only ones who fell was Sx, Alvis & Danny.

Alvis had guards on, so wasn't really injured. But Sx & Danny, ouch for them.

EXAMS ARE OVERRRRR! :DDD

Omgx. I can't believe that exams are finally over. How did I ever get through the four dreading papers (!?)

Anyway, glad that it's over. & it's holiday nowww! (:

After the paper, our class decided to go have some fun!

Nah, we didn't plan before hand, so everything's impromptu.

First we had lunch at eHub - Seoul Garden.

I can't remember when's the last time I had Seoul Garden.

I also can't remember when's the last time I went out with the class :/

I think the last time was class BBQ (?) But for the class BBQ, my BESTIE Sx wasn't present ):

I think I am the first person who declared that I was full.

In contrast with my size, I eat very little. Unbelievable right? =="

But it's a buffet ley! No matter how full I am, I'll stuff myself (:

So all of us eat slowly, chatted, joked, cooked, then eat, chat, cook, joke again.

At the end of it, our table itself ordered a total of 45 items!

The guys ordered so much meat! They're hungry monsters!

Wah, try the ice-cream with the brownie.

D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!

As we leave the place, I bet everyone' stomach is filled.

& we're also filled with the smell from the smoke. It's damn smelly!

I left my shampoo on for a while (very hair damaging), hoping the smell will go off but it's still there. Urgh!

Aftermath we went to check out chalets. & I am the only 1 there who can do the booking!!

AHHH-HAHAHAHHA!

Cause I am the only one there who's 18!

Hah, for the first time I am so proud of myself for being 18.

Usually I'll just sulk & wished I was wiser when I was younger.

Anyways, arcade after that & home, sweet home.

Just borrowed some books from the library. It's time to brush up on my English language :/

Hai! :D Its the 8th day of CNY (chu 8) & I bet everyone's mood have been tuned to studying for exams.

Sibei no life right? FML too.

Currently blogging at boyf's house & his brother is pissing me off.
No la, he just kept asking me for angpow. Fat hope.


House #16: Mrs Tan's
No, I still have not finish visiting everyone's house yet.
Today Mrs Tan invited all NV Netballers to her house.
I meet up with My, Ml, Joanne, Mh, Val & head off to her house.
It's like a kid's funfair there, with 4 toddlers running all over.
One of them is Kaihe, Mrs Tan's baby & the other 3 is Char's siblings.
Despite the noise pollution, the kids made up part of the entertainment (:


When more arrived, Joanne, the gambling-queen, started the ball rolling.
I left halfway through the game.

Chinese New Year 2010

YEAR OF THE TIGER - DAY 3

My day started off with Dad running into my room & telling me my hamsters gave birth to 3 babies.

Initially I wasn't convinced thinking its some tricks to make me wake up.

But somehow I believed him & went down to take a look.

True enough, Boyboy & Girlgirl had 3 babies! :D

Here's only 2 of them, the other one is in the house.

Here's all 3 of them cuddling in a corner.

From what I heard from people, we've to separate the male.

Thus I brought Boyboy out & place him into a small bucket.

Who knows! A short while later, he's went missing! I searched high & low for it but to no avail.

Thinking the possibilities of it dropping into the drain at the wet kitchen.

Or kena taken away & eaten by wild birds. Sigh. Devastated upon losing Boyboy.

Still very sad but no choice gta go over to San-Yi's house already.

This is the only house we went today. Went in the afternoon & stayed all the way till late night.

Carline helped me tie french braid. Loves.

Watched Mu Lan & then we loh-hei.

Awhile after we loh-hei, we had our dinner. & I continued slacking around the house.

Then it's time to surprise the birthday girl! (:

Today is also my auntie's (cannot say age la) birthday. & my cousins prepared a surprise for her.

So sweet!

Even though the night is still young, some of my relatives are leaving as the kids are schooling tomorrow.

Oh man! I also got no mood to go back to study lor. We left as well.

On the way home I was madly hoping Boyboy will come back.

& true enough, when I open the door, there's a pail lying in the middle of the living room.

Ahma found Boyboy in the living room & caught him for me.

She said she's very scared but built up the courage to pick him up.

Awww, super duper happy max! :D

Today is the last day of CNY, not official, but self-proclaim.

Out of superstitions, I believe that how you spend your new year (esp first day)

is how your life's gna be for the particular year.

So far no particular 'bad' thing happened to me this CNY.

Except for the Boyboy lost (but found it back) trauma, all's well.

Actually I think it's all in the mind la.

If you don't think pessimistically, there's always a solution.

If you think everything's gna be well, then it will.

If you think you're doom, you are.

I love my family. I love my friends. I love everyone.

I love Chinese New Year! :D
