Firstly I would like to thank Mr Goh for inviting & sponsoring me for this trip. 
I am really very grateful. It's my virgin trip to Batam, as well as Indonesia.
I've never stepped into this foreign country before.
I expected more from this trip, but overall, I still enjoyed it (:

Their currencies can really make you convert like crazy.

Initially I was bringing this straw bag. But it snapped right before I step out of the house.

We assembled at Harbour Front to collect the tickets & settle all the admin stuff.

Time to take the ferry!
I was so lousy. The moment I stepped onto the ferry, I felt giddy & nauseous.
Didn't know I'd have sea-sick.

There's movies showing to keep me occupied so I won't think of the giddiness.

After an hour or so of sea-ride, we arrived at our destination - Batam.

Then another 20mins of bus-ride to Formosa Hotel.

After settling down a little & unpacking our stuff, we head out for lunch.
Most of them recommended the Bak Kut Teh right opposite the hotel,
but we still lunched at A&W in the shopping mall a street across the hotel.

You can't find A&W in Singapore anymore.

After filling our stomachs, we did some shopping in the same mall.
There's nothing much. All the same old things they sell in Singapore.
The prices are around the same as well. At the end of the day, I still got myself 4 wallets.


Hello Kitty craze!

This is their cinema. Not much difference from the ones in Singapore.
But their tickets are selling at $3/$4.

After the whole afternoon of shopping, we head back to the hotel for a short rest before assembling for the agency dinner.


Their Adidas packaging is so nice & unique.

Agency dinner was a treat by my boss, Mr Goh.
I am sure everyone enjoyed the dinner, as well as the food.
It's also a good time catching up & bonding with the colleagues.

Kbox was next. Everybody enjoyed themselves judging by the laughter & the cheers.
Of course, those adults drank a lot. Even I drank.
I was the youngest over there & under-aged =="
However, they (especially the guys) kept pushing me the liquors & beers.
In the end, I drank a little. 3 can of beer & a few glasses of hard liquor.
Aftermath, I K.O.ed.

Kok Meng, started the ball rolling.

Followed by Jerry.

After that, our boss took over the mic!

After this, the party officially started.
We played a few round of games first, then everyone started to warm-up.
Jerry & Joey stripped & danced. While we stuff money into their pants etc.
It's really hilarious.



At this point of time, I've already drank about 5 glasses of hard-liq. But still steady.
The guys continued to push me more alcohols, seeing that I can still take it.

Together with the rowdy young boys. Except for Mr Goh. But still young at heart.

Joey, kept saying he wasn't drunk. But look at his face! As red as a lobster.

Awhile later, they brought in more beers.
This is when one by one, they force me to drink a can with each of them.
In total, I drank 3 cans. After which, I am already tipsy. But still conscious.

Kenny was stripped off his top cause he lost.

The guys continue playing & they all lost to this powerful woman.
I guess the guys are really lousy drinkers.

After this, all went back to the hotel.
Was supposed to challenge Richmond to see who can hold more liquor.
But it's so inappropriate for an under-age girl like me to challenge those guys.
So I went back to my room at 3am.
All 3 of us were drunk. So we chatted until 5am before we turn in.


In the morning, Xinwei & Catherine, my room mates, have to leave early.
So I am left alone in the room.
Initially I booked tickets back to Singapore at 9:20am, but was too tired & still giddy. So I switched back to 3:30pm.


After recovering from the hangover, was still feeling a little giddy & uneasy,
but I still got up at 11am & had lunch at Pizza Hut with Chengyan.
Then we went to the super-market.

Once the time is up, we gathered & head back to Singapore.
In the ferry, I was worried I might throw up due to last night's drinking. Thankfully I didn't.

On the way, I cried upon receiving the bad news about Kimwee );
Once I arrived in Singapore, I put my luggage & Dad sent me to Baby's house.
My first time riding a motorbike. Slept for 2hours before we went to the wake together.


I lost a good friend );
