Great Eastern

Great Eastern Roadshow 2009

Whenever I walk pass this hotel when I'm on my way to work,
I'll have the urge of taking photo of it.
But at that time, I do not have a camera on hand, but now I do.

Not a bad place to hold your wedding dinner or whatever events.

For this weekend, the below sums up everything that I've been up to.
Working at the Great Eastern roadshow is not at all tiring, but fun (:
I really enjoyed collecting leads for my boss as I try to persuade passer-by to join.
I hope they enjoyed it themselves though most of them are here for the goodie bag :/

The crowd on Saturday afternoon before I officially start work.

During dinner time, I went to the food court with Richmond & Kok Meng.
Chatted & got to know each other deeper.
I had this bowl of Vietnam noodle & it doesn't taste fantastic :/
Definitely not worth the money ^$^

This is the camera that I've been holding for the photo contest this 2 days.
Winners get to win this camera (a brand new one of course).
Apparently the brand doesn't look appealing, but it's not bad, for a basic camera.

We have different talks in between the carnival for customers to listen.

Photo-taking contest.
I didn't take part cause I was working for GE myself. But I took a picture with the GE mascot just for keep sake.

Ballon sculpturing.
Many kids, especially young girls, are attracted by this. They keep asking me "Jie Jie, I want the balloon."

Besides balloon sculpturing, there's also Sand Art going on at another corner.
Many kids were overwhelmed by it as well.

Not only the kids get to enjoy themselves.
Even their parents also have activities to take part in & indulge themselves in.
Take the body massage & manicure for example.

Grab & win. Both adults & kids enjoyed this.
This is the station that attracts most of the crowd.
When they look at others play, they too wanted to join in the fun.

Even if you're not interested in any of the activities, you'll still get to take free drinks.
It's F.O.C. & free-flow if you like to put it this way.

I was so happy because I miraculously hit the quota that my boss target me.
30 leads in a day. The first day, I only manage to hit 18.
As for today, I managed to finish the remaining 12 leads from yesterday.
& on top of that, I cleared my quota for today. So in total, I collected 42 leads today.
Awesome me ((:

& thanks to Dad&Mom who came to support me on Saturday night & sent me home.
Mom took a photo with the lion & joined the photo-contest too (:
An additional note to add, I saw Dr Tiong on Saturday at the carnival! Dr Tiong! Our PIPC lecturer (!!!)
Obviously I approached him astonished & persuaded him to join in the fun.
He filled up his particulars & after that, I don't know where he went to :/

Once I knock off, I went to the balloon sculpture area & plead for a bee.
B stands for Beeee (B.)

Baby came to meet me & we went to Food Fair aftermath.
The place is really packed like sardines.
The whole convention hall was smoky & reek smell of all kinds of different food.
I bought 3 packets of roti-prata of different flavours.
Spent a lot on food & decided to leave the place after many sinful indulgence.

Our many attempts of taking a good shot. & this is the first picture of me w/o my braces :D

F.I.N.A.L.L.Y.!

As usual, Baby is always bullied by me to take dumb photos with objects.
He looks cute though (:

We decided to bus home since both our EZ-link card is empty.
So we head to the 107 bus stop & waited for 30mins!
Then Baby got fed up & went to the board to check (!!!)
There is no 107 service on Sundays & Public Holidays (!?)
Why is there such thing!!?? Urgh!

Had Pontian Noodle for dinner. Home-sweet-home.
