✈ Hong Kong Trip (Day 1) - Singapore to Hong Kong
Rise & shine & did some last minute packing.
It was 5 in the morning & once we're ready, we left house at 545am.
It was 5 in the morning & once we're ready, we left house at 545am.
Check-in & had breakfast in the airport.
Once the departure time was reached, we're all ready to board the plane.
We didn't take Singapore Airlines. Silk Air instead.
Once again, I managed to 'fight' for window seat. HAHAHAHAHA! & guess what I saw, a rainbow.
Its gonna be a 3hours flight. So I caught G Force together with my brother.
& suddenly, I miss Bb&Gg! ); I hope my sister doesn't torture them.
Once we got out of the plane, can immediately feel the chill.
It was 11degree celcius out there & I was wearing a tank top, leggings & slippers.
Due to the recent H1NI & all the stupid flu etc, we gotta go through lots of checks.
The queue was super long & after about 20mins,
we finally got out & collected our luggage & went to meet Dad who was already there.
Dad arranged a driver to pick us up at the arrival hall.
Dad arranged a driver to pick us up at the arrival hall.
Guangzhou airport.
The driver then drove us to Dongguan, to pick Dad up from his hotel.
The hotel Dad's staying - Grand Noble Hotel
We stopped over after an hour of drive for toilet breaks.
Aftermath, we continued our journey to Shengzhen, which is 1.5hrs of jounrney.
Dad take away KFC for us to eat in the car for lunch. The KFC is so different from Singapore's.
Finally, reached the MTR Station to go over to Hongkong.
MTR is exactly the same as Singapore's MRT. But of course the time from 1 station to the other is longer.
Took a train all the way from Shengzhen Lo Hu to Hong Kong Sheung Wan.
It was a total of 19 stations & took about 1.5hours for us to reach our hotel T_T
Before that, we had to walked for about 20mins from the station to our hotel.
Best, we gotta lug our luggage along the streets.
The road is so bumpy & rocky, my palms had blisters!
& Baby's luggage is the worst cause its so heavy, I anyhow drag.
(Sorry dear ); )
After walking what seems like miles, we reached our hotel - Courtyard Marriott Hong Kong
Our rooms are in a corner, side by side.
I shared a room with my brother, which is the most disgusting thing to me :/
The room was small & cosy. I love it.
The first thing you'll see when you open the door is the bathroom.
& the bathroom is actually transparent! But don't worry, there's curtains to draw.
& the view outside from my room's window is simply awesome.
Can see my father's name on the TV.
Taken in the toilet, can see the bed right? Cause it's transparent!
& there's a full-length mirror, which is love.
Then went to check out my parents room. As awesome as ours.
Their toilet was even worst, can totally see the full view of the shower.
& snapped a photo of my brother urinating. Whoops!
After settling down, we headed out for dinner at a near-by restaurant.
I thought Jusco was a huge shopping centre in KL. Went in there & it happened to be like a Daiso.
The trams on the streets of Hong Kong. This one works using electricity.
There's others that are like SBS buses. I realised all their buses are so narrow.
Bought a few stuff after dinner as we walked around.
The new flavoured Eclipsed. Not sure if its out in Singapore yet.
Blackcurrent & Orange flavoured respectively.
Didn't bring glove along so bought one from Watsons.
It was freezing cold out there. My hands are like numb already!
Then went back to the hotel to plan for the activity for the next day.
Traveled for the whole day today. From plane to car to train & then by foot.
All the walking & lugging of the luggage almost killed me.
