Changi Broad Walk
I woke up early in the morning at 6am, saw Jz's message saying he can drive me to Changi Point Ferry Terminal so I changed to waking up at 630am instead. Thanks to Dan (:
Thank God cause yesterday I was still panicking on how to get there!!
The worst thing is, I need to rush back home right after the "field-trip" & rush to Paya Lebar.
Moreover, I can't back-out cause I was the one who asked Alvis, Fred & Shuxian to go with me.
Moreover, I can't back-out cause I was the one who asked Alvis, Fred & Shuxian to go with me.
So Jz came over to pick me up at 645am in the morning & off we go to Changi.
It was raining rather heavily before I left house. I was wondering if I should back-out :/
But the rained stopped so I just went ahead with the plan. Then it drizzled as we're on our way.
As we gathered at the ferry terminal, they gave us a "briefing" & told us that...
WE CAN'T PROCEED DUE TO THE BAD WEATHER!!!!!
I didn't know to feel happy or disappointed.
Happy cause I don't have to rush down to Paya Lebar already!! My biggest worry is settled!
Disappointed cause I was actually kinda excited to go Pulau Ubin. I love "field-trips".
As I was packing my bag last night, throwing all the out-door essentials into my bag, I was close to squealing.
Yes, I am adventurous like that. Never mind I'm going on 27th Mar with V. Stars&Co. (:
Even though the entire event was cancelled (postponed, rather), they had back-up plans lined up for us.
Since we were already there, at Changi, we strolled through the Broad Walk, with ponchos on (:
Ok that's me with a poncho clumsily pulled over me, my BIG back-pack on my back.
Shuxian said I look ridiculous & she asked for my handphone to snap a picture for me to see.
I didn't find myself funny leh. Ok maybe I look a tad bit like a turtle but still... not very funny what!
I think what's even funnier was the mis-matched track-pants & T-shirt I was wearing.
I could easily match the green shirt (dress-code) with a pair of FBT shorts.
But we were made to wear TRACKPANTS!! Or long pants. Both are silly.
As I was packing I was thinking which idiot would wear trackpants to Pulau Ubin,
at the same time I was telling Sis about the trip. Then she told me "You better wear long pants."
My expression changed. I would NEVER thought of wearing trackpants to Pulau Ubin.
But she said if I don't wish to be feasted on by mozzies I better cover myself up -.-"
Trying to take a sceneric shot of the sea. The other side was Changi Beach, according to Shuxian.
What we're amazed of was that metal-gray ship in the middle of the sea.
I thought ship where usually made of wood or something. But this one likea tank.
Dead fish found on the sandy beach. Must be from the Japan tsunami. #justsaying.
After walking to the end, we stopped-over at a pavilion & the organizers made us play games.
Its the usual games, making us introduce ourselves etc, then other ice-breakers we usually play in camps.
Yes I made quite a number of friends (:
Aftermath, we walked back to the terminal & they promised us free lunch (Chicken Rice).
We settled down at Changi Village to eat our Chicken Rice.
After eating, we continued to sit down & chit-chat while waiting for our results to be released at 11am!
If we were at Pulau Ubin, we might not even receive the SMS so early :/
So yes, Shuxian was the first to receive the SMS & she screamed in my ear -.-"
Then 1-by-1, the rest of our phone starts to vibrate. & our heartbeat became faster.
Before I receive my results I was telling them how worried I am for my PIA.
Cause the day of the paper I woke up late & I panicked & I had cramps throughout my paper etc.
In the end, even if I wasn't killed by the pain, I was killed by the paper.
When I received my results, I thought I'd pray before opening it up but I didn't. Just whack only.
I scanned through for "F" & there wasn't any. There wasn't any Ds as well.
& for my PIA, it was really a pleasant surprise. I didn't pretty good! Haha!!
On a side note, I didn't really care about my GPA cause my grades were almost the same as other sems.
But when I went back home, I was curious & I went to check...
MY GPA INCREASED BY QUITE A LOT!!
I wasn't even bothered but to think that it's actually a big improvement. Another pleasant surprise (:
This is the BEST GPA I have so far. To think that this was the toughest semester for us. Hmmm...
Ok after that we left Changi & took direct bus to Alvis's house.
I need to take back the DVDs that I lent them during the CNY visiting.
But we ended up watching a DVD over there to pass time (:
I only posted up my individual shots cause I scared the rest might not be comfortable with it.
We also took group shots at the end of the shoot (:
These are some of the photos taken using Mel's camera.
The pictures taken by the photographer would be sent to us soon.

We watched Dan in Real Life, in Alvis's movie-room with a projector, wide-screen & all.
I didn't care about image & just lie across the sofa in a comfortable position to enjoy the show.
The plot & everything didn't look like its interesting. I thought it's gna be a boring movie.
But it turned out to be opposite!! Its really nice & quite funny. I think I will watch it again someday.

PHOTOSHOOT
I went back home to bathed & TRIED to take a short nap but was ruined by Sis. She kept irritating me.
In the evening I have to pack my stuff & prepare etc for a photoshoot with the girls at night.
Yes yes, you didn't see it wrongly. Its a PHOTOSHOOT.
I don't see why its wrong for people to go photoshoot. Its not like we're models or something.
It's more of a, portrait kinda thing. Like, family portrait. Or portfolio.
& please don't ask me why we suddenly go photoshoot ok. Its a long story.
& ITS NOT WHAT YOU THINK!!
Ash's mom introduced it to us & she also came along.
She picked Cher, Jo & Lh up & sent them to the studio while Dan & Jz sent Mel & I over.
We took quite a few individual shots. Before that we have to smack on shitloads of make-up.
Hmmm, we brought 2 outfits each & we took 2 front, 2 left side, 2 right side poses with each outfit.
It was awkward at first to pose in this kind of awkward situation. Plus the guys were watching.
But after that we got a little more flexible & comfortable. & the photographer helped us with the posing too.
I only posted up my individual shots cause I scared the rest might not be comfortable with it.
We also took group shots at the end of the shoot (:
These are some of the photos taken using Mel's camera.
The pictures taken by the photographer would be sent to us soon.
Lh also used her new polaroid (given by Ash for her bday) to take photos.
After the shoot, we changed, clean-up etc & left.
Ash's Mom sent the rest of them back while we went to Chomps for dinner/supper.
