Ok so... I was in my parents car earlier on tonight on our way to Grandma's when we met with an accident. How should I put it? I was traumatized, seriously. Ok, the thing goes like this...

After dinner with my parents, Sis & her boyf at Chomps, we alight them at Kovan station & 3 of us, both my parents & me, are on our way to Grandma's. On the way, at a junction near Punggol Nasi Lemak, Mom was driving across the road past the traffic light when another car turned & we collided.

Mom was driving at a normal speed, but when she was approaching the traffic light, it turned amber, so she release the accelerator. But seeing that we're already at the stop line, its useless to step brake to stop the car because according to the law, as long as we're not behind the 2nd arrow when the traffic light turn amber, we can pass.

As we past the stop line, driving straight past the traffic light, a car on the right was intending to turn right, cutting our lane. That's when "BOOM!", we collided, right smack in the middle of the cross junction.

Before the actually collide, I saw that a car was turning & I wanted to shout "STOP!!!" but the words just don't seem to be able to come out from my mouth. But its too late, both our cars hit each other at the front. & sitting at the back, I was slammed right to the front seat, hitting my legs at the front seat.

Right after we collide, both Mom & I stoned for awhile but Dad was calm & he came out of the passenger seat. He opened the back door & called me out. I was still trembling from the shock. I can't get hold of myself. But Dad dragged me out of the car, commanding me to take pictures here, take pictures there. I held onto my phone with trembling hands, snapping photos at every angle. I wasn't even given the chance to recover from the shock when I have such huge responsibility. 

To add on, my leg was injured from the impact towards the front seat that it left a sore bruise on my left shin & calf. 

Aftermath, both parties just settled some stuff by exchanging particulars, calling tow services as well as insurance companies.

Our car's the black Nissan. Not as badly damaged as the Toyota.

Our car can still move a short distance despite the front right tyre puncture. 

But the other car cannot even move at all! Look at how badly wrecked it is!!

Oh btw, the other car driver happened to be our neighbour! Not directly, but we live on the same street.

After the accident, I got home & I started hallucinating stuff. A lot of thoughts came to my mind.

What if the accident wasn't this minor? 

What if we ain't this lucky? 

What if I lost my life?

Worst, what if I lost my parents?? );

Negative thoughts like this really kept me thinking the whole night. & I can't stop thinking.

This made me cherish & treasure the loved ones around me. 

Its like overnight, we could lose them.
