Happy Birthday, Mommy! ♡

For my family every year, National Day = Mommy's birthday.

We won't be staying home watching the NDP or feeling the hype etc, 

cause we'd be at some restaurant celebrating Mom's birthday! 

Of course mother more important right??

Today, we don't have much activities planned. In fact, we have no plans at all :x

In the late afternoon, we decided to hit town for some shopping.

Nothing beats shopping with parents in town because, want anything? Just grab it :D

Made reservation for Hard Rock Cafe - Sentosa to celebrate Mom's birthday.

I love the place cause it looked so damn grand!

When we entered & was waiting for our tables to be ready, we could sit at the bar to enjoy a drink, 

or we could enter the Rock Shop in the restaurant itself to look at souvenirs.

I myself eyed on a Hard Rock pull-over in gray. Which cost $95. Meh.

While dining, we also get to watch the NDP live on the big screen in the restaurant!

Luckily our seat was right in the front row. All full view of the parade. Not a single thing missed!

If you order any cocktail, you'll get to bring home the glass as souvenir! I want!!!

Dad&Mom. & I seriously don't know where Mom's looking.

Dad&Mom - NEW YORK STRIP STEAK (medium)

"A (USDA) choice 21 day aged center-cut, 12 oz. New York strip steak grilled to your liking and topped with Merlot-garlic butter. Served with smashed potatoes, gravy and fresh vegetables."

I don't really like to eat beef but for today, I decided to try. 

It doesn't have the bloody taste that I dislike. In fact, no beef taste at all. & its super juicy max!

Sis - NZ PEPPER STEAK (medium)

"7 oz. NZ sirloin steak coated with cracked peppercorn. Served with smashed potatoes and fresh vegetables."

It wasn't as juicy as my parent's steak but the pepper taste is overwhelming!

Bro - GRILLED SALMON FILLET

"An 8 oz. fillet grilled and topped with a Merlot-garlic butter and served with smashed potatoes and fresh vegetables."

Hmmm, I think it taste pretty normal :x

Mine - FISH & CHIPS

"Fillet of fish dipped in our special batter and deep-fried to a golden brown. Served with french fries."

Don't you dare ever underestimate this plate of Fish & Chips because it beats Fish&Co hand down!

Actually not really la. Haha. Fish&Co still serves the best Best Fish&Chips in Town, 

but this plate of Fish&Chips is also not bad. The fish they use is different though.

CAESAR SALAD

"A full helping of Romaine lettuce with croutons, Romano and Parmesan cheeses tossed with Caesar dressing.

Its a really good experience & awesome ambiance.

I'll probably come back with Jz again at the end of this month.
