Vasantham Stars

NIGEL'S ADVANCED 22nd!

So, Avengers is the biggest hit so far this year and we thought of watching it together as a clique.
Initial plan was to watch it in iMax but changed of plans. We watched the normal ones instead.
A little disappointed but I guess the movie itself is awesome enough.

Really really awesome movie.
It was a tad boring at the start, especially if you haven't been following all the Marvel films.
That explains why Mr Choo Jingzhong managed to fall asleep during the movie -.-"
Towards the ending is where the exciting part begins. And it was hilarious too! :)

Before I watched the movie, I went to catch all the related films to re-cap.
The Hulk, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man I, Iron Man II, Captain America and Thor.
And it amazes me how the ending of each movie shows a short preview of The Avengers, linking everything up!
This shows much far ahead they have planned when the individual movies were released.

As it was also nearing Nigel's birthday, we took this meet-up as a birthday celebration as well.
It was hard for us to plan this meet-up. Even  so, Weien was unable to make it cos he was overseas!

Dinner @ Brewerkz (Clark Quay).
Dan, Mel and Nigel drove over there to get our reserved seat while Glor, Marcus, Jz and I went to buy the cake and train there.
It was already close to 9:15PM when we reached cos the movie ended at around 8:15PM.

Marcus's Fruitbrewz Beer.

Gloria's Rosé Wine.

Jz and I shared Irish Red Ale.

Nigel's Steam Beer.

Dan and Mel shared Golden Ale.

Brewerkz are supposed to be famous for their self-formulated beers. And they really do have a lot of variety.
So we ordered all the different beers to give them each a try.
Sadly, they all taste the same. I mean, we can't taste any distinctive difference from one to the other.
Maybe we're just not trained for beer-tasting. But really, it was quite a disappointment.

Pork Ribs.
Imo, I think the one T.G.I.FRIDAY serve is 10x nicer than these. It's much succulent.

Count Werkz Burger

Hawaiian Pizza

Pork Knuckle

Us with our table full of food. Even though we ordered and shared, still fuxing full!

The bill for tonight. Not a place for people on tight budget.

Bring out the cake, yoz!

Happy Birthday, Nigel Woo!

Super hyper when we are singing him the birthday song.

Present #1: Ralph Lauren Polo-T

Nigel's supposed to bring this cake to a random girl. But he didn't.

Inside includes #2) a pair of berms from TopMan and #3 a shirt from Praise.

Giving a tough guess for his fourth present.
