JINGZHONG'S 21st BIRTHDAY CHALET~!

19th Jan (Fri) - Day 1

I've been looking forward for this day for so daaamn long!

Its like just a few months ago Jz & I have been planning for this birthday celebration.

Choosing the chalet, booking it, searching for caterers & sending invitation. The list goes on.

I can't believe that today is the first day of the chalet!! I am so sexcited!! :D

After school, Jz drove over to school to pick me up.
Then we went back home to grab some stuff as I forgot to pack them into my luggage.
Sigh, too many things to concentrate on that I can forget so many things.
After that we drove back to Pasir Ris to meet Mr Michael at Aloha Loyang to check-in to the chalet! :D


Checked-in, checked everything was ok, then Mr Michael left & there's only Jz & I in the chalet.
Our initial plan was to head out for dinner then maybe catch some midnight movie at E-Hub.
But I was too tired to go out of the chalet. So I ordered Canadian Pizza instead. Hehehe.


Guess what! While waiting for the pizza to arrive, I went to take a shower. 
In the midst of showering, the circuit tripped & the entire house blacked-out.
I freaked out I tell you. I am frigging afraid of the dark. Some more I'm in a foreign place.
I have to dress myself up in the dark, at the same time, panicking.
I rushed out & Jz went to call the technician over to fix the thing. Walaooo~


After the disaster, everything was fine.
We ate our dinner peacefully snuggled on the sofa & watching Channel 8 show.
At around 12am, we went out to pick Dan & Mel up as they were coming over to stay-over.
We also went to Geylang to have supper as I complaint that I was hungry.
Unbelievable was, I just ate 1 WHOLE pizza by myself. Yet I can still eat supper. *salute.


Once we come back to the chalet, it was already close to 2am(?)
All of us washed up & sat in the living room using our laptop,
then we took the Yellow Pages & start searching for our parents' name & laughing at their names.
At around 330am, it was sleepy time. Zzz.

20th Jan (Sat) - Day 2

Rise & shine & it was already 11am.
Supposed to wake up at 1030am but who the hell can wake up so early when we slept only at 4am!?
Anyway, I didn't sleep well for the entire night cause I was squashed-up in 1 corner by Jz.
He is super selfish he took up so much space I have to lie on my sides.
My front was literally touching the wall already & when I tried moving back, I'd knock his back.
Moreover, their air-con like super good quality kind. 
I was freeeeezing despite wearing my Padington Bear pullover ):
When we woke up, we also found bees (peaceful) in the room. Like a lot of them.
There's 1 on the curtain, 1 on the window sill, another found dead on the floor. 
After that in the day we also found another 3 more I think. I wonder where they come from.
But thankful they were not harmful else we'd be in A&E instead of celebrating his birthday. 
Jz's classmates damn funny they say "Must be y'all too sweet already la, attract bees."
I can't help but agree. LOL! 


After we freshened up we quickly went to the market to meet Jz's Mom to get the chicken.
We also went to buy other stuff for the party tonight! :D


The guys helped to season the chickens etc before they left for their soccer training at 3pm.
I waited in the chalet with Mel for Babies to come. I asked them over to help with the decorations.
Once they reached, we spent the entire afternoon decorating the house.
Blowing balloon, putting up the banners etc. Mostly done by them cause I was busy.

Our unit. It was the EXACT SAME unit as my previous class chalet we had in September!

As more & more guest start to arrive, the merrier it was. 

Jz's classmates came & they came to me & said "Aye you got steamer or not?"

I replied "Don't have leh. But there's an oven in the kitchen. Why do you need it for?"

Then they cracked & said "We going to steam 寿桃 for him." HAHAHAHAHA!

Apparently before Jz's birthday chalet he told them to get him a gigantic 5-story high 寿桃.

Super lame the guys. & they did!! They were such nice & humorous friends of his uh.

They present him with the 寿桃. Everyone in the house was looking & laughing.

Even Jz's Mom & Grandfather laughed at his friends. 

The very first group photo taken with Jz's family cause they have to leave early.

Throughout the night I was busy BBQ-ing, entertaining the guest etc. 

It was pretty tiring but seeing everyone enjoying themselves made it all worth it.

Jz was also walking around the whole night that both of us have no time to eat.

At around 930pm, Rach arrived with the birthday cake.

I ordered the cake 2months ago from her, telling her what I want the cake to be like.

We also did lots of research together to design the cake! Ah, so much hard work.

Last night Rach texted me saying the cake was screwed up & she can't give me what I want.

I was a little disappointed but I still trust her to produce a good cake.

Indeed, when she arrived that night with the cake, I was really surprised.

The cake looked so much better than I expected! It was EXACTLY what I wanted.

A soccer themed cake with all the soccer essence in it. Except that she can't do the ManU logo.

I was so happy I teared. Then... Lm brought in ANOTHER cake, with my name written on it.

It was MY cake. I was really flabbergasted that I cried on the spot. 

Babies crowd around me & just kept laughing at me for being to silly.

I didn't expect them to be celebrating my birthday too. It was all Babies' & Jz's idea to surprise me.

I thought they were gna celebrate my birthday on 30th Jan cause Lm ask my to keep that day free.

Little did I expect this. Awww... I am really touched guys. Love y'all so damn much! Xoxo, ♥

Anyway, here is Jz's cake as well as my cake at different angles for your appreciation. 

Jz's cake was soccer-themed, & my cake was princess-themed (:

They were so nice, cute & pretty, you wouldn't think it was edible.

Everyone gathered into the house, all looking curiously at the cakes, admiring them.

It was time to cut the cake but first, let's spam group-photos!

I swear I feel damn extra cause it was not my birthday yet I have to take photos as well.

Oh well, everyone was surprised it was my birthday celebration too. Just like me.

After all the photo-taking, it was time to sing song, cut cake & make wishes!!

I was making my wish very seriously but Jz is not even taking it seriously.

As Jz was making his wish, Dan took out a pair of soccer boot & stuff it into his hands saying

"Nah, your wish come true already la. A pair of soccer boots."

It was his birthday present from all the guys in Vasantham Stars - Dan, Marcus, Nigel & Weien.

We wanted to cut the cake already but Lm announced

"Aye Jz, show some appreciation leh."

Obviously Jz got the message so he grabbed me & forced a kiss on me. But he missed T_T

He planted a kiss on my chin instead!!

Another kiss for me, his dearest girlfriend. Haha.

I insist on making my wish again since Jz distracted me during the previous one.

*poof!!

We were wondering how to cut the cake. Especially mine since it was 3 tied.

I also couldn't bear to cut it cause it was so nice I didn't wna destroy it!

At long last, the cake was cut & everyone had 2 piece of cake to try.

Jz's cake was chocolate flavour while mine was mint chocolate.

I was wondering if Lm purposely ordered mine with mint cause I love mint. Or coincidence. Hehe.

Everyone had their cake & went back to their own different cliques & corners & lepak again.

That's all for the night, it all ended well. 

Mel brought along her Polaroid camera for us to take photos & keep as souvenirs. 

Then she stick the polaroid films onto the wall. Thank you so much babe! ♥

Later in the night when everyone gradually left, it's unwrapping time!! 
Jz received lots of presents that day (duh-uh). He must be really happy.

Soccer boots & ManU wind-breaker from the guys in Vasantham Stars

This present is from Jz's classmates - Lepak Bangala Lepak (LBL)

(What a cheesy name right? I know. Haha.)

Initially this present was in a NTUC plastic bag. Hansiong asked Jz to guess what it is.

At first he showed him the Halal sign, then Jz saw the box was Brand Essence of Chicken. Haha.

However, upon taking the present, the box was light. Confirm not Brands Essence of Chicken.

When Jz opened it up, guess what it was? It was a  customized jersey with his name & favorite number!

Nike T-shirt from Mel. There's also another shirt but I didn't take photo of it.

For those who didn't give birthday present, they gave red packet instead (:

Last but not least, is the presents from me to Jz. I bought him a couple of things.


1. Scrapbook
I made him a scrapbook which includes all our photos as well as movie tickets that I kept.
I gave him on the first night of the chalet. I spent the entire week burning midnight oil doing it.
It wasn't easy as I have to arrange all the movie tickets that we've watched.
Yes, I kept ALL of them, including other tickets like Singapore Flyer, Luge Sentosa etc. 
I also have to arrange all these according to the dates with photos we've taken. Hard work.

2. Armani Exchange belt
I went back to town for 2 days just to buy this watch.
First I went with Jz & tried to fish out what he want. I went back the next day to get it.
That't not all. I also ran to many different shopping malls to find all the designs & got the nicest one.
It was really tiring cause I have to rush here & there, spending so much time.

3. Vans

I also got him a pair of Vans on the day I went to hunt for his watch.

He wanted a watch all along so I went to town & tried hunting for a nice one but to no avail.

A few weeks ago when we went Cine to watch a movie, Jz said he wanted this pair of shoe.

Last minute, I went to Cine's Leftfoot & got him a pair of Vans.

4. Emporio Armani watch

I also spent great effort getting this watch for him.

On a Sat I went to town with Glor to hunt for a watch for Jz. We spent hours & hours.

Finally, we found a watch that is nice. The price was $595. 

It was over my budget & I was contemplating if I should get Jz this pair of watch.

I liked it a lot & I feel that its super nice & would look good on him.

Just then, the salesperson told me if I am a CitiBank card holder, I'd enjoy 30% off.

For the entire night, I text/called/Facebook/Twitter asking if anyone have CitiBank card.

At last, my cousin saw my Facebook SOS & said she could help me. Hallelujah! 

The next day, I went back to the shop & purchased the watch at $506! Save $90 siol!!

On a side note, I went to buy this watch together with my Mom & Sis.

When they saw the watch, both of them said it wasn't nice & it was too big.

I was really heart-broken. But I still insist on believing my taste, so I bought it with no hesitation.

Good thing is, everyone said it was nice & it looked really good on Jz.

He loved it so much when he received it, he can't stop thanking me! :D

Digressing, I lost $100 cash during the chalet. Super sad please.
I am not sure how I lost it but I am pretty sure I didn't drop it.
Whatever it is, I didn't wna suspect anyone but, I am really disappointed with the thief. 
I hope he/she would realize it was wrong & would repent. I don't wish to know who. Tyvm.

21st Jan (Sun ) - Day 3

Its the last day & its time to check-out.
Everyone was literally zombified as they tonned & played over-night mahjong or Monopoly Deal.
Even though I did sleep, I was still super tired as I slept at 3am (I think).


So we woke up pretty early in the morning & clean up the chalet.
As the person inspect the house, they wanted to charge us a fine as there were glitter on the walls left from the wall decorations.
We spent a helluva time scrubbing the glitter off the wall else we'd to pay.
At last, the wall was cleaned & we don't have to pay the fine. *phew!


We packed up & check-out at 1030am, heading to Downtown East for Mac breakfast!!
After our breakfast, we didn't wna waste our Sunday away so we decided to go Wild Wild Wet!
It was super impromptu & I didn't bring along any swim wear. So we just wore normal clothes.
It has been a long time since I went to WWW. Definitely still as fun. 
I had a great time playing all the slides & fooling around with the guys. Hahaha. 
Thank goodness the weather was good. The sun was high up, but better than rain.

Home, sweet home like a lobster.
