Pasir Ris Park BBQ Pit 16
Hello! I just got home from my class BBQ as you can see from the title.
I was feeling quite tired cause we had a lot of fun today but I thought I might as well blog
since I am waiting for the photos to be loaded up onto Facebook. We didn't take a lot though.
So anyway, its really been a long time since I met up with my classmates.
Even though they always organize badminton etc, I didn't attend a single one of them.
I would say, badminton is just not my cup of tea. Not that its not my forte, but not of my interest.
So I am kind enough to meet the organizers at 3pm at White Sands then to Bedok to buy the BBQ food.
They kept saying I have became tanner. Like, chao da. Throughout the night people have been saying as well.
Well, actually I think ever since after Pulau Ubin & WWW, indeed I have turned a few shades darker :/
Finally, we arrived at this BBQ wholesale place called BBQ House at Gourmet East Kitchen.
I thought it will be something like Sheng Shiong or Giant, but in some warehouse. But it's this...
They choosing the food & utensils etc for the BBQ tonight...
We were given a chart to select our food & quantity, then they take the stuff for us.
All the food for tonight. Looks little... I hope it's enough to fill 20 hungry stomachs!
After buying we've to lug everything from Bedok to EHub! to buy drinks etc.
Then lug the food PLUS drinks to Pasir Ris Park BBQ Pit 16. Thank goodness it wasn't deep in.
It was already past 5pm when we reached. We told the rest the BBQ starts at 5pm. Haha!
But when we arrived, no one was there yet! Standard. Who the hell would reach ON TIME!??
Since only 5 of us were there, we started the fire first...
Or in fact, Danny was the one starting it up. He's like, so well-trained in starting fire! Knowledgeable as well.
Elicia & Auntyin arrived next. They actually reached Pasir Ris Park already, they went cycling.
Next Char & Jo arrived together. & slowly, more & more people...
Throughout the night, not only did we eat, we also played water using water guns. Haha!
Everyone was happily eating until I took the gun & started spraying at Alvis/Danny.
Slowly, everyone started playing with water. Ikr, we're so childish. But we're the FUN type of childish.
Look, who the hell at age 19 & above still plays with water guns with classmates in public??

Oh no! Got caught looking for food to eat. Many more similar photos...
Another photo caught me eating my sweet corn. Doesn't taste sweet at all. & UNCOOKED!!
Even though it was still quite early (10pm), we decided to call it a day.
We packed up, took a group photo before bidding good-bye (;
Oh btw, there's a funny story behind these 2 group photos.
We asked someone from the next BBQ pit to help us take a group photo. A guy came over...
Everyone got into position & pose for the photo. Then the guy cued "1... 2..."
All of us broke into laughters cause THAT GUY'S VOICE IS SUPER QUACKY! !
Can't you imagine everyone was silent then suddenly this quacky voice came "1... 2... 3...!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I am so glad that many people came for this BBQ. Even the L02 people.
It was great to see how we're able to bond after switching class this semester. We've made lots of friends.
Though tonight was an awesome night, I'm still upset Astiana & Shuxian didn't make it );
Oh wells, school's starting in around a week's time. I can't wait to see them! Miss them to bits!
