Family ♥

AFamosa Water World

Yes, a 1 day getaway in to Malaysia for some family time! Just what I wanted this hols (:
No la, it wasn't specially planned by my family but, its an event that my Dad's company held.
So my whole family went along with him. We're invited also ok, not buay paiseh go one hor...

We have to leave the house by 6am in order to reach AFamosa by 10am. Which is the start of the event.
It was about 4hours drive to Malacca, where AFamosa is.
Before arriving, we stopped-over at an eatery to grab some food. More like to have breakfast.

I LOVEEE half-boiled eggs. I can eat it for breakfast, lunch AND dinner (if my cholesterol level allows).
During school days I could eat the Breakfast Set in ITAS for almost everyday.
Reason being, its CHEAP, its FILLING & its NICE!

Finally, we arrived at AFamosa. Had a short nap during the car ride :/
There were lots of people in red shirt when we arrived. They were from Dad's company.
Dad say there's a total of 9 buses. 1 bus 40 people. 9 x 40 = 360people!!
Can you imagine 360 people in red shirt flocking over to Water World? That's insane!

Since the Animal World is right beside the Water World, there were elephant rides. Its quite smelly.

You see you see! One whole bunch of them...

After that group photo, we entered Water World.
Mom have been wanting to enter Water World since we arrived.
She say if we don't enter before everyone else, we will have to queue for the toilet etc...
Typical Singaporean sia~ In the end we're also the FIRST to enter -.-"

We entered & went to change to our swimsuits.
When I left the toilet with my swimming costume on, I realized I'm the only one in swimsuit!
Almost all the other females were wearing over-sized tee & shorts or even leggings in the water!
Cause this is a Muslim country, they're more conservative. It made me feel odd.

After changing & rented the tubes, we chiong to the Wave Pool to soak ourselves in the water first.
Singapore is really creative to call this Tsunami in WWW. Haha.

Look at Dad! He might be 50+ but he's still young at heart! Playing likea small kid only...

Mom, sad to say, doesn't know how to swim -.-" Yet she keep wanting to be in the wave pool.

This tells us - 上梁不正, 下梁歪.
It means, when the senior doesn't show good example, the juniors will learn & do the same thing.

After this we went to play all the other rides.
I'd say there are more variety of rides here as compared to Wild Wild Wet.
However, the cleanliness in WWW is much much much x infinity better than here.

After playing most of the rides, we went back to the place where we put our bags.
Grandma & the maid has been sitting there watching us play & taking care of our belongings.
So I took the camera along with me while bringing my maid to walk around to see.

My parents in the Lazy River. In WWW its called the Shiok River. Haha.

Kid Adventure Pool.
I didn't even step inside. I don't wna risk stepping onto babies' poo since its already so dirty normally.

Family Raft Slide.
This is the first ride my family played. Its super fun! Can only sit maximum 4 people in 1 tube.
At first when the float went down, I told Sis "Aiya, confirm not as fun as WWW de."
The next minute, the float twirled & flipped me vertically to the top!
I thought "If I were to be heavier the float confirm plunged upside down."
After the first round we continued the second round. That's how fun it was!!

Inner Tube Slide.
I think this is the slide that has to be played with the tubes. Like, you have to sit on the tube to slide down.
I think this ride ok only leh. Not very fun since its with the float.
Cannot really feel the twist & turns, cause you're on the float...

High Speed Slide.
THIS is a killer. I've sat this the last time we came here. Can still remember the thrill.
Can you imagine sliding down almost vertically from 3 story high?? Can die of heart attack man!
The aftermath was a very bad wedgie & probably a gush of water entering your nostrils.

Body Slide (background).
In the foreground people are playing those obstacles thingay. Like those in Ninja Warriors.
Oh the body slides are suuuuuper fun!! Like literally. We played every single tube at least TWICE!
Imagine the pain to climb up the stairs to don't-know-how high just to slide down.
We're willing to go through that torture just for the fun of sliding down. Its FUN!

Arabian Village.
Another playground for the kids to play. I'm over-aged.
No la. No age limit. My "young" Dad jumped in to play. Told you he's like an old boy.

Our coupon for the buffet lunch Dad's company provided us with.
Its held in this 2 level pavilion called the Pavillion (obviously).
We were the first to eat (cause Dad's the boss & boss must eat first) so we buay-paisehly took a lot of food.
I love the fish especially cause its crispy on the outside & super soft & tender in the inside.
Totally craving for it as I type this. The curry chicken also not bad. I managed to find like 4 chicken wings (:

After our lunch, we played for a little while more & Dad went to give a short speech to all 360 of the workers.
Just then it started to pour so we all chiong to the toilet to wash up as it was almost time to leave also.

While waiting for Dad to drive the car over, there are elephants & pony waiting to walk customers.

Sis & I are very entertained by this pony. Look at the posture of his hind legs. Like ballerina sia...

After a while he change position.
Sis say maybe they are like humans, when we tired we'll stand like that also, with 1 leg bent. Haha.

In the car. Bye bye smelly elephant~~

We drove for a few hours & stopped-over at some food court to grab some food.
After that we continued our way & finally arrived at this restaurant for dinner.

There are lots of lobsters at the other side, mostly giant ones. Like bigger than my head.

Soft Shell Crab.

Deer Meat.
I finished this dish up cause I simply loveee deer meat.
Its just like chicken meat but more tender & I love chewing on the tendons, so chewy :x

Oyster with Cheese.
Only the rest ate it. I didn't. Cause I HATE oysters. Or rather, anything similar like cockles etc.
GROSS!!
Btw, I heard that oysters can boost men's *ahem*. Like you know, make the men more horny. #justsaying

After that filling dinner, we drove back home.
Its quite a quick drive. Like about, less than an hour & we're already back in sunny Singaporeee! :D

I'm so happy to be back!! :D
