♥ Happy Valentine's Day ♥
@ Night Safari
Love is in the air...
And I know I mentioned more than once on Twitter that V.Day is just another ordinary day for me.
Because I am in such a 'perfect' (close enough) relationship, I don't need this special day to feel special.
Don't you think V.Day is just an ordinary day that made love seems like a very special 'TODAY ONLY!' kinda thing??
I am not being sour or what, saying V.Day is childish whatsoever. No.
I still feel awed whenever I see couples being sweet and girls holding onto their flowers feeling proud.
And after Jz showed me this tweet from @MensHumor saying
"Remember ladies, the current exchange rate for a dozen roses is 1 blowjob. #ValentinesDay",
I will look at the amount of flowers they've received and start counting the number of bjs they have to give.
Lolololol. Don't blame me. I've very wild imagination.
And just to mention, I warned CJz not to give me any flowers, saying that I hate them.
Actually no. I *LOVE* flowers. I love them to much to let them die for me.
No, that's another politically right excuse.
I'm actually just trying to save myself from embarrassment in case Jz doesn't buy me any.
Back to today... since I didn't get to bake yesterday night (this morning, to be exact),
I woke up early and went out to buy the ingredients for baking!
Was in a dilemma to bake cookies or muffins. Price are about the same but cookie more quantity.
So... despite being very good at doing my sums, I chose to make muffin instead.
Cookies are too... mainstream. Besides, I haven't baked muffins for a long time ^^
These are the ingredients. Spent $10+ on the muffin mix and cupcake papers.
I'm not a fan of blueberries, but I love 'em in my muffin! :)
Ok I actually added too much fillings into each cupcake holder and it overflowed while baking in the oven.
But don't worry. I settled it and it still looks fine :)
The servings are supposed to be for 12 cupcakes. But because I stuffed them into 6, its kinda too much.
CJz came to my house after school and so I cooked Laksa Maggie for our dinner. Which sucks.
On our way to the surprise venue Jz said he's bringing me.
Jz planned for this surprise for me for our V.Day, but because the past surprises failed, he wanted to give this one up.
He asked me if I want him to tell me straight, or leave it as a surprise.
I said I love guessing games, and so, asked him not to tell me a single thing.
Actually... I sort of already guessed it and knew it. I even know what to wear for the day! Hehehehe.
But just to double confirm, before we leave house, I asked him if we're going to Night Safari, and indeed! :DDD
Even though I always 'spoils' the surprises Jz plans for me, I love how he always puts in the effort for it.
I love my boy. X
My cheeky boy. He wanted to hold the boobs but there was other people around.
Special thanks to Mel's cousin, Andrew, for giving us 50% staff discount on our tickets! Much appreciated! :)
As you can see, the above photos were all blurry and they look disgusting.
We aren't allowed to take flash photography and my camera wasn't fantastic.
So instead of busy taking perfect shots, which is impossible, we put the camera aside and enjoy them with our eyes.
We took the tram ride and alighted at a stop to walk the Leopard Trail.
I know everyone would say you can't see anything in Night Safari, but you're wrong!
Its almost the same as going to the daytime zoo, but with a totally different experience.
Beside, the tram allows us to have close encounters with the animals as they're not fenced up.
They could've came right up to our seats, or even attacked us as we go pass them.
But to your disappointment, they usually just stay within their boundary cause they're too shy.
I brought along the muffins I baked earlier on today and Jz's indulging in it while we take a rest.
Urg! The flash is too bright! That explains my half-opened eyes.
We exit the Leopard Trails and proceeded to the entrance where there's a show at 9:00pm.
Thumbuakar Performance
"Catch these human torches as they perform incredible fire-eating stunts!
Don't miss this blasting fire show that will blow you away!"
Back-to-back with this performance was the animal show!
The crowd practically flock over to the amphitheater altogether. I was being shoved there by the crowd.
Once again, blinded by the bright flash lights.
Creatures of the Night Show
"Gear up for one of the world's finest animal presentations - The Creatures of the Night Show.
Get ready for 30 minutes of non-stop action as our star animals the otters, binturongs, racoons, wolves, hyenas and many more, amaze you with their predatory and survival instincts."
Munching on my very own blueberry cupcake! :P
We took the last round of tram ride before we call it a day.
The tram ride was very informative, but I almost fell asleep cause I was too tired.
Good-bye, Night Safari! :)
Thank you for such a wonderful night, my sweetest valentine... ♥
