Pulau Ubin
w A9L03 & Co.
Ever since our attachment started, we have no time for these kinda outdoor activities anymore.
Well, maybe the rest of them did have, but as I was in Australia most of the time, I might have missed out on a little bit.
But I am really glad that we have this outdoor outing thing that gathers everyone together once again.
I mean, not everyone came, of course. But its still nice :)
It was a horror in the morning because we're supposed to meet at 9am at Tampines Interchange but as usual, people are bound to be late!
I was still damn worried that I'll be late, but guess what? I was one of the earliest, and I reach ON TIME!
Stanwin was the latest. Pffft. What's new right? Hahaha.
Also, Shuxian was supposed to board the bus we're on, but she missed it. Haha.
But thankfully the next bus came pretty fast so we didn't wait for very long after we alighted at Changi Ferry Point Terminal.
On the ferry towards Pulau Ubin!
We're like, the only bunch of people there at the terminal. Haha. Weekday what, what you expect.
And just nice we have 12 people, just the number to board a ferry.

Not bad. Now even Pulau Ubin also got these kinda packages...
A classic touristy shot, as always...
We rented our bikes at $5 or $8, depending on how good we want our bikes to be.
As a very cheapskate person, of course I rented the $5 (cheapest) one. And to my surprise, it doesn't make my butt pain!
We stopped over at a pavilion for a breath-catcher and also, to take group photos...
We were each assigned a number for head-counting...
I was eating during all our breaks, even those short ones.
And I am super conscious of them taking photos of me because I would appear to be eating in EVERY photo. Glutton.
9gag material. "Please park and lock your bicycles here." And so did we.
A pose for Chek Jawa!
I swear I didn't know THIS place exist!
As a very outdoor person, I do come to Pulau Ubin very often. However, I've never been to this place!
When they mentioned about coming I was so lost and confused. Like I was the only one who've never heard of this place.
And so they brought me here! And I loveee this place! Now I know where Mediacorp do their filming...
I was trying to do something different. #fail.
A stopover along the broadwalk... Time to take out my food again and SNACK!
Yanti took these shots. Apparently from her view, it was just some black shadows due to the bright sunlight from the back.
But it turned out... #fail.
Shuxian was sucked dry by mosquitoes. I hot-cross-bun-ed her :)
Great scenery with jet planes flying every few minutes...
We played a few rounds of "Go Back Jump, Go Jump Go". We love playing this game.
Aftermath, we also went to a tower, like a 4 level pavilion. The climbing almost killed me.
They said it was 4 stories high, but I think its 10 stories high! Everyone was panting away when we hit the top.
And oh yes, the tower is very shaky. When we're on top, we can feel it shaking.
The limit was 20 people and we only have 12. Can't believe if there's >20 people.
When we're on top, I told Shuxian "Eh we follow those drama and scream at the top of our voice la.". And so we did :)
They are Temasek Polytechnic ambassadors.
I swear at this moment the sun is giving me dizzy spells. Like, seriously. I can't take it.
After the exiting Chek Jawa, we continued our journey and stopped by this awesome place.
It wasn't a check-point initially but we stopped-by to wait for the rest behind.
And realized the view is just breath-taking. Why the water so blue one!??
We went back to the starting point because it was almost lunchtime.
Also, Ju, Yanti and Zu was leaving soon. And we also settled our lunch there before proceeding.
All of them had tze char over at one of the restaurants and I think its pretty good. I ate my bread instead.
Poor Hariz have to eat cup noodles because there is no Halal store. They only open on weekends.
Another stop-over at a beautiful place.
It started pouring after we continued our journey. Thankfully we found a shelter nearby.
Super poor thing the rainwater kept splashing in. We're all cold and wet.
Let's call it a day! :D
