Travel-log:
Patong, Phuket, Thailand
Patong, Phuket, Thailand
Hi 大家!
I am back from my awesome awesome getaway with my bbylove and I had such a GREAT time!
The thought of it makes me wna go back already :'(
Why are getaways always so nostalgic???
Anyway, here is a summary of how fantastic my Phuket trip is. The awsomeness can't even fit into this small space.
To be honest, before the trip I was forever worried about EVERYTHING, ANYTHING!
What tours to take. How much does the tour cost. What if we kena scam. What if this... What if that...
But when I was there, I told myself to just relax and just go with the groove. And I had such awesome time.
So thankful that everything turned out so good; better than good :')
26th Mar '12 - Day 1
You can never guess how we went to the airport.
We took a public bus.
What? Cannot meh? Our luggage so small only.
Plus I have direct bus right outside my house so why not?
I would NEVER spend unnecessarily on taxi ok? I hate taking taxi and I am not gna *waste* a single cent on it. Period.
We arrived at the airport at 1045am, just in time for our Mac Breakfast :DDD
Our flight is 1:20PM in the afternoon, and we've to check-in at 11:20AM.
Ikr, quite wasted cos most people fly there early in the morning but us, in the afternoon.
By the time we're there we already wasted an entire day. Mehhh...
But its ok. I believe with proper planning and good time management, we'd still get to max out our fun-time over there.
But its ok. I believe with proper planning and good time management, we'd still get to max out our fun-time over there.
Checking-in! We're flying Silk Air!
After checking-in, we still have another hour so we went to T3 to walk-walk.
Was very amazed by this Merlion in T3. Lolol. I feel like a tourist already.
Waiting to board our plane... :D
Not sure if its the camera lens dirty or there's something stuck on Jz's teeth :/
GOOD-BYE, SINGAPORE!!!
What a pig. K la actually I also dozed off and the air stewardess have to wake me up and ask what I want to eat.
Food on the plane. Jz's Chicken w/ Mashed Potato. Which taste really good!
I love the Mashed potato especially. Hai. Damn niceee I want it nowww!
I had Fish w/ Fried Rice. Which is mehhh only. Fish is not bad though.
Beautiful scenery while arriving at Phuket.
Landed in Phuket airport! :DDDDDDD
Outside Phuket airport waiting for the vehicle to pick us up.
In the van, not paying attention to the tour guide's recommendations and just taking photos. Lolol.
Check-in to our hotel - Amber Residence!
I was actually a little shocked and disappointed with our hotel front aka lobby as it doesn't look like a hotel at all.
It looked more like a motel. Or those small hotels like Hotel 81. But the room was pretty awesome.
And I grew to love this place more and more because of the friendly receptionist, the great service, and of course, the location.
Our hotel was surprisingly close to Patong Beach. It was right in front of Patong Beach, just cross the road!
Quickly changed into outdoor clothes and ready to head out to book our tours! :D
Everywhere along the street is Family Mart. Like the 7-Eleven/Cheers in Singapore.
We're sb thirsty so we bought soft-drinks in this glass bottles at 10฿, which is about S$0.40. Cheap!
We walked around Patong to explore the place and at the same time, check out the tours.
We did out homework and already had in mind what we wna do for the next 2 days and so we just need to do a little price comparison.
Turned out, we don't even need to compare prices at all.
We first went to a small little booth by the road side to ask for our Phi-Phi tour and they offered 1500฿ (~S$62.50).
It was within the budget we set and also around the same price as what our friends quote us.
So since it was reasonable, we didn't bother to waste time and compare price with other agencies.
We did bargain though. And the lady gave us 1400฿ (~S$58.30) each. Hehex.
We asked for the ATV + Elephant Trekking + White Water Rafting package though and it was overpriced.
So obviously we walked away la.
We chanced upon another agency and asked for the ATV + Elephant Trekking + White Water Rafting package.
The lady was very kind and gave us a lot of recommendation and suggestions The price she offered was 1100฿ (~S$45.80).
That was for 15mins of ATV + 15mins of Elephant Trekking + 5km of rafting + lunch + transport etc.
We upgraded our ATV to 30mins and added another 250฿. So total for this package was 1350฿ (~S$56.30). Not bad.
After booking our tours, it was a load off the shoulders.
I was super worried we don't have time to book the tours and the agencies would be closed by the time we arrive in Phuket...
Worried that we'd waste a lot of time walking around comparing prices blah blah blah... Kan jiong spider ish me.
But who knows, we end up settling everything in less than 1hour! Great!
Hence we relaxed and took a stroll by Patong Beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset :)
We saw lots of naked women too. Half naked I mean.
Lots of boobies to see. 20yo also have, 40yo also have. The best is the 70yo one I saw. Shaggy.....
Lots of boobies to see. 20yo also have, 40yo also have. The best is the 70yo one I saw. Shaggy.....
We walked the entire stretch of Patong Beach back to our hotel.
Thankfully we reached the hotel before it started raining heavily.
Since it was still early, we washed up and took a small little nap before getting ready to head out for dinner!
Wore this maxi I bought from Australia at AU$6.90.
Decided to dress-up in case we're going to watch some shows or go somewhere nice. Hehe.
Dinner at 99 Seafood for the first night and the theme was Tze Char!
A friend recommended us a few nice restaurants in Patong and we walked super far to look for it and almost gave up!
Just as we gave up and decided to dine at any restaurant we saw, we're stepping right in front of 99 Seafood.
Muahahahaha. Fated or what. So we happily walked in lor.
Coke + Sprite - 100฿ (~S$4.20)
Soft-drinks again. I swear we drank about 5 bottles per day. Confirm diabetes if we stay >4days.
Fried Morning Glory - 80฿ (~S$3.30)
So awkward cos I was like "Do you have Kang Kong?" and they look super lost.
So I said "The one with a hole in the stem." They look even more lost. Lolol.
Phuket Fried Rice w/ Pineapple - 120฿ (~S$5.00)
Fried Shrimp w/ Spicy Curry - 350฿ (~S$14.60)
A tad more expensive but it was orgasmic. The prawns, or rather, shrimps, were super fresh and crunchy!
Complimentary fruits, as per other restaurants anywhere
Don't know why their fruits all super sweet. They inject fructose inside is it??
After our very filling dinner, we walked around the streets and went to the night market etc for light shopping.
The street is super packed with tourist like us and of course those locals doing business.
We walked around and actually our main objective is to be approached to watch the Ping Pong Show.
It is actually like those ladyboy shows but this is the RA type where they'd bring you to some "secret" pubs.
As we walked along the street, many of them came to us but it was still early and we wna shop around.
So at around 9pm, we just wait for someone to approach us and we go. Haha.
They're super smart. As it was free entrance, they on the spot tell us that we can go in for 10mins and if we don't like, we can walk out.
When they brought us in there, they hard-sell their drinks like mad. They earn their money by hard-selling their drinks. Entrance was free.
And a bottle of drink cost 1000฿, which is ~S$41.70. Sb hardcore.
In the end we managed to bargain and had 2 bottles of beer for 1000฿.
But of course, the waitress asked for tips because she gave us discount. We only gave her 20฿ (~S$0.80). Lololol.
Even though it was quite expensive, I find the 'performance' very interesting. Hehehe. No I am not perverted.
All the 'ladies' were naked. ALL of them were topless, but only certain performance is fully naked.
I bet Jz must've had a really good time. Especially when we were seated right in front of the stage, with excellent view.
It kept me thinking if they are male or females. Because I can't seem to find any surgery scar on their naked bodies.
Anyway, what amazed me the most is the woman (I suppose) who stuffed lots of nonsensical stuff into her VJJ and squeezing them out again.
She stuffed like strings of cloth, needles, flowers, you name it, she can stuff it.
She even insert a straw and blow out a cake full of candles using her VJJ. And shooting darts to burst the balloons etc.
She also stuffed ping pong balls inside. Can you imagine it? Must be super loose.
Ok enough of the details.
We stayed for like 2.5hrs, where we took our time to finish our drink hehehe, and left the place.
It was already close to midnight when we left and still have to walk like 15mins back to the hotel.
27th Mar '12 - Day 2
Woke up early in the morning at 6:15AM and prepared to head out for our first day of tour!
We head down to the hotel lobby for breakfast and as our hotel is small, breakfast wasn't buffet style.
We have a menu to choose our breakfast from and there's 4 different types (I think).
We head down to the hotel lobby for breakfast and as our hotel is small, breakfast wasn't buffet style.
We have a menu to choose our breakfast from and there's 4 different types (I think).
My Continental Breakfast, which is only 3 slices of bread -.-"
Jz's American Breakfast, which look so delicious!
While waiting for our driver...
Look at Jz's swollen eye. He woke up with bak jiam. I said its because he look at too many naked girls during Ping Pong Show last night.
The driver was supposed to pick us up at 7:15AM to 7:30AM. But we waited and waited, no where in sight!
We're so worried that we dio scam or the driver don't know his way here cos our hotel's quite new.
Our hotel reception saw us waiting and offered to help us give the driver a call.
Finally at 8AM odd, a van came and pick us up.
I was expecting the van to be very dirty and smelly but no. The van was actually quite clean and high-class. Haha.
It was about an hour ride to our first destination - #1) Fruit Farm!
Can you spot what tree is this?? Its a DURIAN tree!
The lady preparing some coconut balls for us to eat.
It taste like muah chee w/ brown sugar cube as the fillings and coated with shaved coconut.
Another station serving curry! Super delicious one!
I hand over the camera to Jz to take photos and he disappeared. I thought I saw some potential in him.
But who knows, when I saw the photos, all the pictures shows the board only. WHERE ARE THE FRUITS!??
Another station that serves Tom Yum soup. Also very nice. Super spicy and sour, it left a hot feeling in my tummy.
Lots of tourist don't like it and they only had 1 sip and threw the rest away. Damn wasted.
I think I am the only one who appreciate it.
They also served us a platter of fruits when we're seated in a hut. Then they served each of us this.
It looks like pancake but super small, with brown sugar.
I've never seen this fruit before. Can anyone inspire me?
We're done with the fruit farm!
Next stop would be the Elephant camp where we'd be watching the Monkey and Elephant shows, ATV, Elephant Trekking etc.
It was said to be 20mins car ride but the driver being a "F1 driver", arrived in <10mins time.
Speaking about the ride, the driver really super hiong. Our ride was super bumpy and fast.
We don't even need to get on an ATV to experience ATV. Our van is like ATV already. Haha.
This is not the Monkey Show. Just 1 random active monkey near the entrance.
#2) The Elephant Show.
The elephant giving a volunteer some massage.
The little boy also dare to go up. Not scared the elephant squash him ah.
This is the funny part. They put bananas into the man's shorts at THAT part and the elephant have to retrieve it.
Its funny bcos the elephant keep cannot find the banana and kept grabbing the wrong part!
I swear I am a little worried that the elephant would grab the wrong thing and pull it out.
This is the #3) Monkey Show.
After plucking the coconut off the tree, the monkey carried it and walked towards me.
I thought he/she wanted to do something to me but actually he/she gave the coconut to the guy sitting next to me. Phew!
I don't want to be involved in any case of 'animal attack' during this trip.
Not sure if you can see but the monkey on the right is peeing.
Up next, #4) ATV!
We're so glad we upgraded our package to 30mins of ATV. It was duper fun!
Especially when it rained last night and the ground is all wet and muddy with puddles of mud water everywhere.
After the ride, all of us were soiled with dirt. But it was great great fun!
After our ATV was supposed to be Elephant Trekking. But the tour guide said that there is a lot of tourist and we've to wait for ~1hour.
He suggested that we walk around or we can do Fish Spa. Which wasn't inclusive in our package and we've to pay 200฿ (S$8.30) each for 15mins.
However, I bargained and the tour guide allow us to do for as long as we want unless there's other customers.
So we did the Fish Spa for >30mins. Muahahaha. Tan dio.
#5) Fish Spa
As usual, it was very ticklish for me at first and I cannot put my feet in the water for 10secs straight!
The moment a fish touches the sole of my feet, I retreat my legs up.
Unlike Jz who enjoyed the entire fish spa like nothing is bothering him. Must be his feet filled with a layer of thick dead skin, cannot feel.
After 10mins, I am finally used to it and in fact, I'm so reluctant to get up!
#6) Elephant trekking. Our elephant is 35yrs old!
Even though there are people taking photos of us on the elephant, we've to pay 300฿ (~S$12.50) for it.
But the person is so nice. He asked for our camera and offered to help us take a photo for us.
Then after that, he asked for tips -.-l We gave him 50฿ but he said 100฿. So we gave him lor.
S$4 only for so many photos from different angles and thankfully they turned out nice.
An ice-cream in this hot weather is orgasmic!
Leaving Island Safari to our next destination - White Water Rafting!
Lovin' the landscape here. Full of mountains.
At Pang-Nga Bay for our buffet lunch and White Water Rafting!
Us by the dam aka 'waterfall' where they open the dam and release the water for our rafting.
#7) Buffet lunch!
Stewpid cat kept sitting next to my chair and giving me that 'Puss-in-Boots' deary eyes.
NO! I will not share my food with you! SHOO!
After our lunch, which I regret eating so much. I literally stuffed myself with food because I'm super hungry and its free *ahem*.
The guide ask us to change into our clothes for rafting. Sadly, we didn't bring any extra clothes which we're supposed to.
Thankfully I was wearing a set of bikini inside and just took off the rest of my clothes.
I feel so bare and awkward because I am the only one there wearing bikini ONLY. The rest has shorts/oversized tee.
After we're all changed and ready, we gathered together outside for a short briefing.
Ok actually the briefing was quite long but the instructor is really funny. As well as all the others.
A couple from Persia asked if we're willing to pair with them cos 1 raft can take 3 to 6 people. We agreed.
#8) White Water Rafting
After everyone was loaded comfortably on the raft with all our life vest, helmet etc we're ready to go!
Jz and the Persia guy need to hold the paddle to paddle but we girls only have to sit and enjoy the ride. Hahaha.
But honestly, the guys like never even raft at all la. They only use the paddle to splash other people with water.
There really isn't a need to paddle at all as the current is really strong, it brings you down the 'waterfall', unless you hit some rocks.
Speaking of which, we kept hitting those big rocks which gave our raft a very strong thud. I flew off my seat all the time.
My feet kept rubbing against the safety hook all the time and it gave me rope-burn. Super pain.
Afterall, water rafting was super fun. Even though we only went for the 5km raft.
A few others upgraded to 7km or 9km rafting. But as a starter, 5km is sufficient and its already very exhausting.
I also don't know why would I be tired when I just sit there. But really, I was drained to the max!
When booking our tour Jz didn't want rafting at all. He's like "Where got people come here do rafting one."
In the end, he's like having so much fun lor. Hypocrite.

In the end, he's like having so much fun lor. Hypocrite.
At the bottom of the waterfall, there's lorries to pick us up and drive us up back to the top.
Dried ourselves and changed back into our clothes. Look at our super shaq face.
Super unglam. I was actually tryna air-dry myself up bcos I didn't bring fresh clothes to change into. Thankfully bikinis are easy to dry.
End of tour for Day 2! Back to Patong our hotel.
It was already about 7:00PM to 7:30PM when the driver dropped us at our hotel.
So we quickly washed up, put on some fresh clothes and head out to hunt for our seafood dinner!
Yes, the theme for tonight was seafood.
Lots of tourist taking this kinda shot so I also ask Jz to help me take one. Lololol.
Dinner at Yo Yo Restaurant, just a few shops away from 99 Seafood, both recommended by a friend.
The Watermelon Fruit Shake is SUPER refreshing! And very sweet!!!!111 60฿ (S$2.50)
Deep Fried Fish w/ Curry (50฿/100g) - 275฿ (~S$11.50)
Very expensive but it is super nice! Jz chose the smallest fish already but we still can't finish. Totally gorged ourselves.
Green Curry w/ Shrimps - 150฿ (~S$6.25)
Their green curry is the sex. But the shrimps inside like not as fresh.
Walked over to Junceylon, the huge shopping centre to get Jean and Melissa's stuff.
It was already quite late when we reached and so we have to hurry with our buys. Don't even have time to shop around.
Back in our hotel, showered and giving Jz a "footjob". Lololol.
I am very scared of the cold and have to wear socks to sleep. Don't my socks look like Paddle Pop ice-cream??
28th Mar '12 - Day 3
PHI-PHI ISLAND TOURRRRRR!!!!!!1111
Super excited for this day to come because it's like the main tourist attraction and a must-do when in Phuket.
Jz and I before we leave our hotel for breakfast. I know we look like zombies...
As usual, our transport was late in picking us up again.
They said 7:30AM but only came after 8:00AM. Our receptionist called the driver a lot of times but phone was engaged.
We're super paranoid that we dio scam and was plotting on smashing their stall where we book this tour. Lolol. Lame.
Actually the reason why our tour always came late is because we are always the last passenger.
As Patong Beach is a 1-way street and our hotel is right at the end of the beach, they pick us up and leave the city straightaway. More convenient.
Then again, I would be more grateful if they tell us to be ready at 8:00AM instead of 7:30AM. That 30mins more of sleep is so precious to us.
I don't know how long the car ride was to the jetty because once I got into the car, I K.O.ed straight and Jz have to wake me up when we reach wtf.
Sitting by the water absorbing the morning rays. Damn shiok.
Lol at the lump on my back. Bikini nots.
Jz insisted on renting a pair of flippers for our snorkeling. In the end we NEVER even use it at all.
100฿ wasted.
I'm trying to be penguin, if you're wondering...
So glad we bought the bread which cost 40฿ (~S$1.70). It came in very handy.
Boarding the speed boat lohhh...! :DDD
Ok the speed boat is really very fast. It was around 1hour to our first destination, Mya Bay.
When we arrived, I couldn't feel my face at all because the wind kept blowing. My whole face numb.
#1) Mya Bay
They allowed us to roam around for 30mins, take photo, take a dip in the crystal clear water, suntan etc...
I ask Jz to take some candid shots of me but it turned out...
All looking weird with all the ugly expressions and grumpy face. FML!
This is the best so far...
I think my photographic skills not bad too. Who would've thought of this method of taking photo?? Smart right?? ^^
#2) Viking Cave
It was said to have a ship inside the cave. And the cave is filled with bats and bird's nest. Anybody??
Only the first few stops and I spam feed the fishes already. They must've loved me a lot.
#3) Monkey Island
It wasn't what I expected. I thought they'd drop us off and let us walk on the beach but no. Just feed the monkeys on board.
We threw the bread towards them but they couldn't even catch. End up feeding the fishes in the water. Meh.
After feeding the monkeys at Monkey Island, the speed boat drove us to somewhere in the middle of the sea for #4) Snorkeling.
It was a 30mins snorkel and snorkeling gear was provided.
I've a story to tell...
Mr Choo Jingzhong very excitedly put on his life jacket, secured his snorkeling gear and went for his snorkeling
while I was at the back, w/o life jacket etc and already struggling to put on my gear with the waves hitting me,
he gave me a *BIG* kick on my VJJ.
WHAT THE FUCK MOTHER OF EARTH KNNBCCB!!!!!!11111
It was fucking painful I lost control and almost cried out. The waves came and made it worst, washing me away.
I struggled and grabbed onto Jz's life vest and almost cried like a motherfucker.
Instead of apologising and asking how am I, he scolded me for grabbing his life vest and dragging him down.
Wtf I was super pissed with him I swear. My VJJ was stinging like mad and I still kena scolded ok can.
End of story. I forgave him the moment we board the boat.
#5) Phi Phi Don Island
Now I know, there's actually 2 Phi Phi island. 1 is the smaller one and the other is the bigger one. Phi-Phi Don is smaller, Phi Phi Lay is the bigger one.
We stopped by Phi Phi Don Island for 1.5hrs for buffet lunch and shopped around as we have time left.
We gathered back in the boat again after 1.5hours and not 15mins into the journey to the next destination...
GUESS WHAT WE SAW!??
WILD DOLPHINESSSS!!!!!
Wild dolphins swimming in the middle of the sea! Count our luck!
About another 1 hour later, we arrived at #6) Khai Island
This is where we do most of our snorkeling and relaxing etc.
Supposed to pay 100฿ (~S$4.20) for the deck chairs but we didn't know.
I thought it was inclusive in the tour package so I just find a comfortable spot and sat down, took some photos etc...
Next minute, I saw some locals walking around collecting money from those people in the same tour as us. So we faster got up. Lolol.
Anyway, who cares about sitting on deck chairs la plzzz.
The purpose of us here is to get wet and swim with the fishes!! Or rather, feed the fishes lololol.
We sat on the floating platform and started tearing our bread into small little bits to feed the fishes. Hehehe.
We're super kind lor. Cos there's a lot of people around us snorkeling so we offered them our bread to feed the fishes too.
After that they also become like the fishes crowding around us and waiting for us to give them bread. Wtf.
Now its my turn to get into the water and come in close contact with the fishes! :D
It was super fun feeding the fishes like this. Even though I am very scared of them la. That's why I always keep 1-arm length away.
And I kept holding on to Jz's feet because I kept floating away. Hahahahaha.
Yes this is an underwater shot! We bought a waterproof camera bag from ebay at US$3.00+ to use it here.
It was ok so far. No water went in and we did QA check at home already so its safe :)
Even so, I dare not put the camera in the water for too long in case it decided to fail on us.
Jz tried to take a photo of me in the water but failed. The plastic at the front made some photo very blur.
I kept urging Jz to snorkel but he don't want. At last I managed to persuade him and he enjoyed it!
Naughty boy attract all the fishes to him. Jelly max cause the fishes seem to love him more.
He damn asshole one, he's trying to make the fish come up to the water surface to eat.
And then he took 1 big piece of bread and lure the fishes out from under the floating platform.
I also very bad. I tore the last few remaining pieces of bread we have into many small little pieces and threw them around him.
All the fishes attacked him. Hahahhaha! But he not scared one. Not fun at all.
We snorkeled for about an hour and finished all the bread by doing charity again (giving them away).
So we went back to our tour's booth and ate some fruits. Complimentary. Damn refreshing.
Then we strolled around the beach to explore the island.
Bumped into 1 of our tour people and he offered to help us take a photo.
Ok not 1, but he took a lot. He even told us how to pose etc while he go into many different angles to take photo.
We also saw people taking photos with these little monkeys and stood around to see.
Then the person asked if we're interested and before we could answer, he toss 1 monkey into Jz's arms. Lolol.
Jz seem to love it and said ok. 1 monkey 100฿ wtf. We hesitated then he offered us 3 monkeys for 200฿ so we took it.
Ok la ~S$8.30 and he spam a lot of photos for us using our camera. They turned out nice too :)
And the monkeys are super cute. Their small little hands keep grabbing onto you and they're wearing pampers!
Bidding goodbye to this beautiful place... :')
Back in our hotel with the 'couple-tee' we bought last night from the night market.
As usual, we washed up and head out again for our dinner!
Back at Yo Yo Restaurant because the food there is really super nice.
Tonight was our last night and we decided to try some authentic Thai food!
My Watermelon Fruit Shake again. Really cannot miss it.
Pad Thai - 90฿ (~S$3.75)
I love Pad Thai, It is super nice la plz. And it taste a little similar to Char Kwey Tiao, imho :/
Tom Yum Kung (Prawn) - 120฿ (~S$5.00)
Super nice and not very spicy at all. I would love to finish the whole bowl but my stomach really no space already.
Green Curry Chicken - 90฿ (~S$3.75)
Green curry again because their green curry is a little different from elsewhere. Their's not very thick, but still nice!
Fried Morning Glory - 120฿ (~S$5.00)
Hai. My boyf love to eat kang kong so let him eat lor...
Their seafood is good because its fresh and we can choose ourselves!
Shopping around Patong after our filling dinner...
Our agenda for tonight is to look for presents to buy back for our friends.
And look for our 孔明灯 aka 天灯, or what the locals call it as Lucky Boom. So kewt.
I asked around and people said we could get it when we walk along Patong Beach. But no one was selling at all.
So we walked to the shopping areas and asked around. Someone offered us 600฿ (~S$25.00) wtf.
The price I am willing to pay for this is only 50฿ (~S$2.00). I think this should be the price for a piece of paper.
But since it was our last night already and maybe because of the wet weather, we bargained and got it at 350฿ (~S$14.60). Still wtf.
It started pouring the moment we bought it and no choice but to wait for the rain to stop.
Another must-do before I go back to Singapore is to sit their Tuk Tuk, but Jz don't want wtf.
Mainly because it was expensive. I know the market rate is 100฿ but the drivers insist its 200฿. So don't want lor.
Mainly because it was expensive. I know the market rate is 100฿ but the drivers insist its 200฿. So don't want lor.
So we braved through the rain in my tiny umbrella and walked back to our hotel.
While waiting for the rain to stop outside, we brainstormed and filled our 孔明灯 with wishes! :D
The rain stopped and not sure if you can see, our lantern is filled with words.
As a very superstitious person, I wrote them in both Chinese and English. *ahem* And I write SUPER BIG!
Up up and away...
We stayed and watched as our lantern rise up into the sky. In my heart, I was praying for all our wishes to come true...
Back in the hotel and did mask to call it a night. Hahahaha.
29th Mar '12 - Day 4
HAPPY 6YEARS 7MONTHS, DEAREST BOY! ♥
What a coincidence, we're going back on the day of our monthsary itself.
Feels so good to be in another country on a special day with your love.
As we have no specific plans for today, we woke up later at 8:30AM in the morning. Ok I know its still quite early...
Breakfast and crossed the road from our hotel and was welcomed by the sand and the sea. Bliss.
We took a morning stroll along the beach where we walked from 1 end to almost the other end.
It took us about 1 hour and halfway through we did sit along the seashore to suntan etc.
Another to-do on our list is massage!
Walked around looking for massage parlor and just randomly stepped into this cos we've not much time left.
Surprisingly the price is very affordable and the place is super clean and nice and comfortable.
We had Thai Massage at 250฿ (~S$10.40) for 1hour.
I wanted body scrub instead but judging from the extend of our burnt skin, better not.
Jz feeling really comfortable. He fell asleep throughout the massage and I have to shake him awake.
But honestly, our masseurs are really great. She's gentle and forceful at the right points.
Not sure if I mentioned but I'm not a great fan of massage. I hate it when people touch me, not to mention massage.
Idk why but I just feel uncomfortable and this weird feeling that makes me shake. But this is really good.
It made me change my mindset about massage.
This is the place where we had our massage.
Jz drinking alcoholic drinks in this frigging hot weather.
Thailand is also famous for their crepes so we really have to try before we leave.
We saw a few stalls as we shopped around the past few nights but didn't get because we're too full from dinner.
When we wanted to try it today, it was damn hard to find. Maybe because it was in the day, lesser. But we managed to find it.
Banana + Nutella crepe - 60฿ (~S$2.50)
We're in a super rush mode because we've to rush back to our hotel as our vehicle is picking us up at 2:00PM.
Wtf lor they told us 3:00PM come pick us up then morning change to 2:30PM and when we reach the hotel, they say 2:00PM.
Thankfully we're already almost done packing our luggage and only need to wash up and get dressed.
The vehicle came punctually at 2:00PM and off we go to the airport :'(
I slept like a pig on the way there. 1hour journey from our hotel to airport.
We had Subway for lunch, walked around, buy some titbits back to Singapore etc...
There's a lot of time left when we arrived at the airport. We even sat down and viewed the photos taken and laugh about them.
We also shopped a lot as we're trying to finish using all our money hahaha.
For your information, we spend very little in this trip.
I set aside S$500 for the expenses there but only changed S$300 to Thai baht.
In the end, we only spent around S$250 each, inclusive of food, tours, shopping, everything!
Now I have extra S$200 for myself to spend heheehehehe.
Good-bye, Phuket.
Thanks for being such a wonderful place for the both of us. We really enjoyed ourselves a lot.
Missing you already :'(
P/S; Please don't stare at my fats in those bikini photos. I know I'm very fat and it took me a lot of courage to post it up.
P/S/S; I have converted the Thai baht to S$ with the rate of 1:24.
P/S/S/S; I hope this blog post would help those of you planning a trip to Phuket! Have fun! :DDD
