Citi Durian Party 2012!!

So, 2 weeks ago Dad asked me if I'm free today for a durian party.

So I said yes. Mainly because no one asked me out that day yet and I won't say no to food. Especially free and free-flow!

At first there's only Dad, Mom and I. But as we have 4 tickets, parents ask Jz along too.

OOTD. Dreamt of this coordinate one night and decided to wear it today.

I'm not sure why but I always dream of pairing up clothes and they end up looking really good.

Fashion dreams.

The durian part was held at Siloso Beach, Sentosa.

We drove to Vivo and took the train over to Beach Station.

As a regular, I happily guide my parents in to Sentosa and at the same time explain to them what's new in Sentosa.

I really really want to try the iFly, Wave House, Segway and MegaZip one day.

When we arrived at the party, I was surprised to see that it's not only a durian part, but it's more like a fruit party!

Lots of different types of fruits were present on each table. 

Peach, cherries, rambutan, longan, baluku, orange etc. 

There were also other food like satays, spring rolls, chicken wings, durian pancake etc etc etc!

Finally, the durians were served. 

Each table were served with many many servings of durians. On each plate were different types of durians.

So far I only eat Mao Shan Wang and D24.

Halfway through our indulgence in our durian, the emcee, Chua Enlai, was walking around looking for participants for the competition.

He already targeted 3 people and they formed a group.

Next, he walked over to our table and saw Jz.

"How about this guy over here. Wiping his mouth with the tissue. How many durians have you eaten??"

Totally embarrassing max. He then proceeded on to asking his name and managed to pull him in form a team.

Next, he ask Jz to look for another 2 more people to be in his group.

And that idiotic Jz conveniently point to me, sitting next to him. I almost spit my durian seed in his face.

In the end, I joined too T.T

So we went to look for another person from another table to join us.

3 teams of 3 people each have to compete and eat as many durian as possible within one minute.

Our seed have to be as clean as possible and the worst thing is, we have to use our mouth and spit the seed into a pail 1m away from us.

At the end of it all, our team came in 2nd. Eating a total of 9 durians in 1 minut.

We won $50 Takashimaya voucher. Notbad.jpeg.

Us stuffing our mouth full of durian. I gagged.
