Christmas Getaway
Kuala Lumpur!!!!

Ok I've been really excited for this one.

Finally after so long we finally get to go on a trip again. Ok maybe not THAT long.

We just went Phuket around April and Batam a few months back. So here's another short trip. 

Babygirl Limei and I have been super excited and we're practically squealing whenever we discuss about this trip.

Also, just as I thought I wouldn't be spending another Christmas overseas, here I am, going to KL hahahaha. 

Well, I sure do miss spending Christmas at home, with family and loved ones. Ok I'm so gna make it work for 2013. 

22nd Dec 2012 - Day 1
Early in the morning we met up at Kovan station (where Gr and I live) and had MacBreakfast!
Omg when was the fucking last time I had MacBreakfast.
Last time Jz and I used to make it a point to have MacBreakfast every weekend morning when we meet. But now...

So while we're savouring our Breakfast Deluxe, we did our lucky draw for Secret Santa.
It was a must-play game for this trip as... it's a CHRISTMAS TRIP!

Before we even chose my Secret Santa, I already know what gift to buy. A kinky lil gift suitable for all. Hehehehe...

Aftermath we took the train to... I forgot which station. But we rushed like mad cos we don't know how to walk!!!!
We practically ran like mad. Really really bad. It's like a 10mins morning jog. With our luggage. Tmd.

Our coach left at around 9-10AM and it's said to be about 5hrs of coach ride. 

In the end, we arrived at KL at around 6PM! The jam was massive and lots of accidents along the road.

First we saw a van that over-turned and then we saw a car on fire. It was quite scary.

God bless the driver and passengers. It was supposed to be a happy holiday period. 

Finally arrived at KL's terminal and we took a cab to our hotel - THE MAPLE SUITE.

Thanks to Bbg Limei we managed to stay in a suite for a super super low price!

The location was alright and the place was beautiful...

The is what we see when we first open the front door... A spacious living room.

We even had a dining room!

From our apartment we can see the other hotels and here's their swimming pool.
Actually our hotel's swimming pool is also the same. On the middle levels and open space.

Our room was much bigger with balcony and dressing area and our toilet has bath tub.
But I think Bbg deliberately 'give' the room to us cos she love me too much heh.

Speaking about room, damn funny because when we're still planning for this trip, I told Lm that we should trick the guys.

We told the guys that we girls would share 1 room and they will share the other, to test their reactions.

Funny thing is, they both look so upset. Hahahaha. Jz said "Ok lor" with that upset face of a lil puppy.

And Gr strongly disapprove us doing so and even said he don't care. 

Omg the guys to damn funny. 

After settling down and taking a short rest, we washed up and prepared to head out for super delicious KL dinner.

Also we intend to visit the KL Twin Tower tonight to take photos of the lighted up building. 

OOTD. That explains my dressing. Brought a presentable set of nice clothes for photo-taking. 

Streets of KL. The area we're staying has lots of pubs and cafes. Whole street of it .

Here's the restaurant that Limei strongly recommended. She said they serve the best Penang Char Kway Tiao.

Watermelon juice will never taste the same as those in Phuket. 

Our first dinner in KL. 

Highlight would be the Penang Char Kway Tiao and the Salted Egg Crab. Yumz!

DURIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best durian I've ever tasted, really. The durians there were super nice and not the mention, dirt cheap.

The Mao Shan Wang is about RM22 for 1KG. We had 1 or 2 and then we also had another D24. 

I personally do not like bitter durians and would love to have the sweeter ones which is D24. About RM8/kg?

Back at our hotel lobby and Limei's grumpy cos we're all super tired as it's already way past midnight and I wna use WiFi.

23rd Dec 2012 - Day 2

Rise and shine early in the morning and can you believe where we went?

We went to the gym and the swimming. Lololol. Like, who bother to exercise when we're having our hols!??
But we're quite serious about our diet plan and eating so much this trip is not making things better.

OOTD for Day 2. Today would be a day filled with shopping!!!!

That explains my giant bag, to put all my loots.

Here we are... BERJAYA TIMES SQUARE! 

Walked into a souvenir shop and we need to buy "props" for our mini Xmas party tonight.

Found this uber cute Santa hat with plaited hair. Immediately lup it over Gr's botak head.

Lunch time at Kenny Rogers Roasters.

Ikr I look like I just gave birth. 

We continued shopping the entire day and the last 15mins in the mall, we split and went to buy our Secret Santa gifts.

I already sorta catch the hint of what my Secret Santa wants and it was a challenge for me to remember the location of the shop.

As you know, in comparison I am the worst in directions. 

Thankfully we bought something from the same shop and I kept the receipt so I just referred to the shop address. (Y)

In the night we had dinner along the same street again and walked over to Pavilion where there is more atas shops and branded boutiques.

It's Christmas, baby!

After an entire day of shopping, I'm starting to get grumpy and my legs are really killing me.

Jz's so gna give me a leg massage when we got back to the hotel. It's really to the point where it's numb.

Anyways, excited to get back bcos we're gna have our mini lil Xmas party in our suite!

We splurge on an expensive logcake for the occasion.

Yea we even dabao durian up to our hotel to indulge. Durian too nice, cannot tank.

After finishing the logcake and durian (yes we managed to do it even after sinful dinner), it's time for SECRET SANTA!!!! 

We begin with a small lil session of confession where we'd try to guess our Secret Santa.

I guessed mine correctly cos it's damn quite obvious. Lololol.

Jz is Lm's Secret Santa. And he got her a piggy bank and a tumbler! 

Guessed it. Lm is my Secret Santa and she got me my fav Hello Kitty lunchbox set!
Know how I guess it's her? Cos after we gather back after buying our gifts, I saw a pink plastic bag in her bag.
And cos I'm Gr's Secret Santa, cannot be she go to a girl's shop to buy things for Jz right? ^^V

I am Gr's Secret Santa and yes, at the souvenir shop I caught the hint that this would be the perfect gift for him.

As he is v into airplanes etc, this is like a perfect gift. Rocket piggybank. 

After I bought it then I realized the coins cannot be taken out after it's being inserted in. So I guess it's a display item.

Gr is Jz's Secret Santa and he really sb kiasu. At the start where we girls are busy looking at our stuff, he sneaked off to buy it.

Oh wells, we all had a fun night and all retreated back to our rooms to sleep. 

It was already pretty late and all of us had a long day. 

24th Dec 2013 - Day 3

Initial plan in the schedule was to go for a massage that we booked when we're in Singapore.

In the end we sacrificed our massage session for shopping session lololol.

Last day in our suite.

We went back to the same old malls we went previously and visited new ones.

Quite rush because we've to reach back the hotel at around 2-3PM to get our luggage and go back to Sg.

Road side stalls. 

Before we head back to the hotel, we had lunch at the same place where we had dinner last night.

Just a quick one and we chop-chop rush back to our hotel and grab our luggage.

Would defo miss this.

Oh yea, after lunch and before we leave, we even grab one D24 first before leaving. 

That's durian 3 days in a roll, people. 

Quite rush to the coach terminal and we thought we'd be late cos there's also a massive jam.

Thankfully we made it on time.

Funniest thing is, cos we just ate durian, when we burp on the bus, the bus will have our durian smell lololol.

And we're v conscious about it whenever we burp. The smell is like, fresh. 

Home sweet home past midnight and just nice - MERRY CHRISTMAS PEOPLE!!!!! 

This is my patriotic Xmas nails for this trip.
