MOVIE: AFTER 8

Oh hai! I just came back from a night-out with Vasantham Stars. 

Seriously, I can't believe I am that ignorant about Mid-Sem Test. 

Tomorrow is the first day of MST yet I can still go out & have fun like its holiday already.

Not like I only have 1 or 2 papers. I have 6, S-I-X ok! Ugh. Have to buck up, say real one.

Before I start, I should really crack you guys up with a classic inside joke. 

Starring: me. Yes, I am the epic fool of the day. No one can beat me when it comes to this.

It goes like this, we decided to catch a movie together. So Mel asked me to organize it.

So I did. I went to ask around what shows they wna watch etc.

& so here it goes... please read the Facebook status below first.

Apparently, from the part where Glor commented "After 7 please." & Weien replied "After 8 nicer."
I thought "After 8" was a movie cause he said it was nicer.
Yes I know there's a chocolate brand called After 8 but I thought he's trying to "make fun" of the "movie" After 8 by referring to a brand.
Ugh. I feel so uttlerly dumb when Mel called me & said "Esther! After 8 is the chocolate la! There's no movie called After 8."
Walao. I really feel like stabbing myself or slicing my head open & let someone suck it dry.
I still went to ask them "So what movie y'all wna watch? After 8, Narnia or Bruce Lee?" Fml.
Even more epic, I said "We watch Narnia ok? Cause I think After 8 is not out in cinemas yet."
Yes, I really did went to Cathay website to check ok! Why am I so dumb!? Or rather, gullible.
Its really ok if you don't get the inside joke. Cause its an INSIDE joke. 


After I got busted, I went to told Sis about my epic fail movie-organizing. She laughed at me.
Even Mom mocked at me by saying "I want to watch Before 8. Have?"
On top of that, the rest of them also can't stop making fun of me la walao!
I really feel like digging a hole & bury my ENTIRE BODY.

Ok, just for your entertainment.
In the end we decided to watch Narnia but right before the tickets were booked, change of plan.
Instead of watching movie, we decided to just have a simple dinner together outside.


Oh btw, I curled my hair for today. Hehehe.
I've been contemplating if I wna curl my hair after New Year or something. 
Not those big auntie curls but, wavy. Y'know?
But I scared I'll regret cause usually people look more mature with curls.
& just nice XX blogged about the DIY curling method. So I tried. Hehehe.


This is my Chun Li bun! I think I should totally adapt this hairstyle. LOL.
After I bun it up, I webcam Lh & Lm showing them my Chun Li bun. They had a great laugh.

TA-DAHHH!
It really worked! My hair fell into place with nice soft wavy curls. Hehehe. 
I am uberly satisfied with the results.
I still think it adds on a zest of maturity in my already very matured look. But whatever la.

Nice hair, completed with a 3/4 high-waist pants & my Birks. Perfect for the night.
Even Baby noticed my hair that day & he said it was nice. Xoxo. 

Digressing, a conversation between Baby & I...
Me: B, do you think I should curl my hair?
Baby: Don't want la. Waste money. Later you don't like.
Me: Huh, then you want me to tie bun every night ah? Hair will spoil leh.
Baby: Then I eat lor. (He's referring to my bun.)
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I laughed like mad.


Ok anyway, went to Marina Square to meet the rest of them.
Golden Mile Thein Kee Steamboat Restaurant for dinner.
Actually... its more like a chicken rice shop cause they serve chicken rice.
& the steamboat thing is like a sides. I don't know how to tell you la. But its yummeh!


After dinner, drove over to Ji De Chi dessert house for obviously, dessert.
The last time I went wasn't a good experience cause Baby made me angry. Heh.
But today was a totally enjoyable experience. Cause we ordered a lot. Haha!
