Picnic @ Marina Barrage

Supposed to meet at 1030am at Compass Point but nobody turned up.
Instead, all of us reached at arund 1230pm, me being one of the latest. Heh.

Purpose is to get food for the picnic.

Spent a lot of time inside deciding on the amount of food to buy, & calculating the cost.

The rest continue while Baby & I went back to my house to get the disposables to save cost.

Then all of us prepared the food at Marcus's house where all of us helped out.

Consider this picnic a birthday celebration for Glor, since her birthday's just a few days before.

Now it's present presentation time! I hope you like the present I got you, darling.

Once we finished preparing the food, we packed up, cleaned up & ready to set off!

Bad news! When we arrived, we heard thunder, & the sky was super duper dark.

Our hearts sank as we've been trying to plan a picnic like this for months!

When we finally had the time for a picnic, the weather turned nasty on us.

Camwhore first while waiting for the rest to reach.

The guys have been so excited about flying the kite all the time.

When the rest arrived, we find a nice spot & the guys are all enthusiastic about flying the kite.

However, before we even get the chance to lay our picnic mat, it started drizzling.

& then it got heavier & heavier. We had no choice but to move indoors.

Indoor picnic. Hahahaha.

We quickly settle down & lay out all the food. Everyone's famished.

After eating our first round, the rain stopped & the sky was clear.

Yayyyy! Super mad happy though the ground's gna be muddy & squashy :D

Once again, the guys got all excited for the kite.

Our kite was enormous. The biggest one over there, confirm.

The guys had a really hard time trying to make it fly up in the air cause it's heavier.

In order to do that, they ran around the place like monkeys. Haha.

Several failed attempts & we girls are starting to get bored.

A final try &...

THEY GOT IT (!!!)

It was flying in the air. Everyone around us is also trying hard to get their kites flying.

Reason being the wind wasn't strong enough.

But soon, everyone's kite was up in the air (:

They guys was busy with the kite so we girls set out the picnic mat.

See! I told you our kite is the biggest.

I tried controlling it. It was relatively strong & heavy, very tough.

Then Marcus & Dan started on flying their own smaller kite.

Baby wanted to fly his kite too, but after numeral attempts, we just couldn't get it up.

I think it's because the rod behind was too long, making the structure wrong.

But the rest insisted it was the skill of the person flying the kite.

So they're saying we got no skils!? !@#$%^&*!@#$%^&*

At the same time, picnic started (:

The sky is getting darker & the guys decided to keep their kite.

Everyone then sat around the mat.

Love the moment when everyone just sit together & talk crap.

We just eat, talk, laugh, took lots of photos...

I tried to fly the kite with Baby as well, but failed.

I ran, jumped, throw, did everything to make the kite fly but...

I GIVE UP LAAA!

Looks so devastated.

Look! The hugeass kite so cool, it reflects light in the dark. Its a very fierce looking stingray.

I love this photo man! The lights at the back are heart-shaped.

We wanted to take a group photo but the guys always love to 'destroy' it by doing stupid stuff.

Like this Nigel, suddenly stretch out his hands & blocked my face. So I pushed him away.

Another take, when the timer was up, he turned around & took this pose.

Totally epic! I laughed like a dog.

After which, almost every photo was candid.

The guys is always up with stupid ideas like this.

Aftermath, they started throwing each other one by one.

What a beautiful night.

Took me so much time to sort & upload all the photos. Gah!
